People tend to remember when things go wrong. Our stay this time was not as pleasant as our last. The front desk staff was not as warm this time we stayed here. The woman that checked us out was talking with a coworker in the lobby and looked at us standing at the counter and asked "do you need me?". It was off-putting.
The room wouldn't stay warm. Once the heat kicked off, the room would get cold. There was a tub in our room, not a walk-in shower. Just make sure you request what you prefer. The tub had 4 knobs for water and one of them was broken- it came right off the wall and didn't work.
These rooms are very loud at night since it's next to I-90 and I-93. They provide a sound soother/ machine and ear plugs, but that may not work for everyone.
Parking is valet only, but the valet staff is very friendly and fast.
They have a nice touch (I think only on Saturday nights?) of putting lavender sachets out by the elevators.
One other topic: breakfast. It is not complimentary. Breakfast is served as a sit down option.
Overall, it's a nice place to stay. It's convenient if you like to walk everywhere. If you're looking to go to the Wharf or even Newberry Street, you'll have a 30-40 minute walk.

I first want to send tremendous praise to Damien! He was personable and kind and helped us sort everything out:) The beds were amazing, the bathroom was modern and clean. We enjoyed the complimentary Showtime. The Whole Foods was so convenient since we opted out of breakfast. If you are considering this hotel, go for it. It is worth it!

Service was very poor and front desk was passive aggressive. They only provide room services every three days. Even after we asked front desk to provide room service no one came and nothing was done. Front desk was rude and said they couldn’t confirm service. Location is next to a very noisy highway and windows are not soundproof. If you need quality sleep or reasonable service please go somewhere else.

Friendly staff, smooth check in, hydration stations with ice and water on each floor. Bathroom equipped with upscale toilet and shower. Comfortable temperature through the hotel including hallways (hallways in a Cambridge 4-star hotel were a little too warm). Funny how people gave a one star just because he was given a low floor with lack of view.

I stay in the city regularly for business and I have stayed at almost all the good ones in Boston.
Finally, I have found the one for me! My home away from home.
The place is a nice blend of artsiness and elegance. Very clean and inviting.
One of my favorite aspects of this location is the crew running the place. The are genuinely kind and caring.
I have stayed at incredibly fancy ones where the staff was rude and arrogant and it ruined it. Regardless of how nice it looks on the outside, if the workers are sending out negative vibes, I am not impressed.
AC has thoroughly impressed me.
A special thanks to Johny, Juanna, Natalie, Rachel, Vinny, Abdul, Greg and everyone else that works here. You all are the heart of this place! Thank you very very very much!

The hotel has great facilities - rooms are new and modern and comfortable. And the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful
But if you face I-93, as we did, the highway noise is horrendous. The interior rooms are probably quite fine, but I would not ever stay here again if I had to have I-93 literally 30 yards outside my window

This hotel is awful and Jason St. Louis gave us the complete runaround. The hotel unilaterally cancelled one of our three rooms and then had the nerve to move all of our stuff to another room. Complete lack of respect and violation of our stuff. I will never stay in another AC Hotel, especially this one.
