Michael was an absolute pleasure; so nice and excellent communication skills. He took the time to explain my options and answer all my questions, then put together a custom plan for my system. His team had a lot to do, but managed to finish in one day. They put down drop cloths and made sure my house was respected and protected.

I could feel the difference in air quality immediately and the air flow is much stronger than before. He also helped me set up my new thermostat and the way it's running now I can tell I'm going to save money on my bill!

The Job was great, done quickly, and I can tell the air quality difference. Michael was easy to work with, taking the time to explain everything for someone that knows very little about HVAC.

Overall, I'm glad we went with ACE and I would recommend them to any one that is looking for someone to service their HVAC.

Calling ACE is one of the worst home owner decisions we've ever made. We were seduced by the coupons which they ultimately worked me around so that no coupons were even used. Don't be fooled by their free diagnosis coupon. That "diagnosis" consisted of him talking to us, walking around our home, and taking a couple temp readings on the intake and outtake. What I actually would have considered diagnosis cost us hundreds of dollars and an overpriced system quote that I found out later wasn't even necessary. We are left feeling that their one goal was to get as much money out of us as they could. I found that everything they did and told me was a stretch of the truth at best and cost more than it should have.
It took weeks to get an appointment, which I took at face value since it has been hot. After dealing with ACE, I called another company and they came out within 24 hours. They assessed the problem for free, and fixed our system quickly for HALF what ACE had charged me just for testing. They gave me a quote for a new system with all the same warranties as ACE had that was again HALF the price ACE wanted. Then they suggested that I wait on a new system as mine was not in bad shape and we could at least keep it going until prices drop in the Winter if I decided to get a new one. THAT is good customer service.
With ACE, when the tech was in our home the first time, I was very clear with him as to my schedule. He pushed to come back later in the day to do more testing and said it wouldn't take long. I told him several times that I had an appointment to go to and he said he was fine with it. He came back later than he'd said and it was taking a long time, so I left for my appointment, but my husband was here. Then he harassed my husband about my leaving because he was very worried about getting his money. I had already told him that my husband and I would have to talk about whatever he found after I got home, and he still pressured my husband and blew up my phone with texts. I had told him he could text me, but I wasn't expecting the barrage and demanding that we fill out paperwork and make a decision right then. The quote they gave us for a new system that they had determined we needed was inflated. When we asked questions about why, we were given reasons that didn't make sense and they stopped responding when we asked questions about them. I felt pressured the entire time I was dealing with this company, and now I feel like we were being lied to the entire time.
The one person who was honest with us was the supervisor that came out and checked our ducts. David was great according to my husband. My husband appreciated his honesty. He was also very reasonable and understanding when I spoke to him on the phone the next day to let him know how we felt about the treatment we'd received from their company. He was the one bright spot.
From now on, I will ignore coupons and talk to my friends. If I'd done that in the first place, I'd have saved hundreds of dollars. All for a "test" to tell me they wanted to charge me 15X that for a brand new system that I didn't need. A test that cost me twice what another company fixed our system for.
