This has been my families go to place for a while. We live in the country and walking down our road is not safe, so many people on their phones driving. At Acres our kids can walk/run around without fear of being hit by a car. The trails are kept up and the views are fantastic.

I love walking these trails. One bridge is down but it's not a big deal. I typically stick to the wooded area right outside of Markle and it's really beautiful and up-kept well. My family is really into plant and fruit identifications, it's a really diverse spot for that kind of activity.

If you like to get outdoors and do some hiking, you'd enjoy visiting, "Acres Along the Wabash." It has over two miles of groomed trails; one which runs along the north side of the Wabash River. There are benches along the trail for those needing a rest.

I'm rating this trail a 2 in comparison to other trails. I actually enjoy going and I do pretty often but it's not much more than a small woods, with a couple off beaten foot paths. There isn't much to it.

Trails could be better maintained, several trails seemed to just end with no direction to the next part of the path. Walking along the Wabash was very cool. Some of the bridges were in disrepair. Overall was a good experience.

Beautiful property. Very peaceful. A nice trail takes you along the river and into the woods. There are a few benches to rest at. A definite hidden gem.
