ACS replaced my air conditioner about 2 weeks ago. Johnathan and his helper were the technicians. They were very helpful in answering my questions. Very professional and well informed. They did the job in just a few hours, cleaned up everything and hauled away the old. They returned about a week later with the AC enclosure that had to be made and secured it in place. Great job done by these two men.

He was pleasant and did a thorough job. The 3 star rating comes from the false information when asked how long a capacitor is supposed to last. He gave a figure of 2 to 3 years. When I googled it, the response is 10 to 20 years. I do realize that Florida climate makes it last less, but even half the amount does not come close. I understand he was pushing for added sales, but he lost all credibility in my eyes. He made the sale, but lost the customer satisfaction when I checked things out. M My

I cannot recommend ACS Home Service based on my experience with them. I had an AC unit installed by them in July 2024, and from the start, the unit leaked water onto the floor. This wasn’t a minor issue—it was a moderate leak that required us to either turn off the unit or place a bucket underneath it.

I initially trusted their technician’s explanation that the coils just needed time to settle, and that if the issue persisted, they could return to address it. When a second technician came out, he confirmed that the unit was faulty and needed some adjustments. While I appreciated the assessment, it took multiple reschedules to get someone out.

Fast forward four months, and the problem is still unresolved. Not only is the water still leaking, but now there’s mold growth from the ongoing moisture. What’s worse, ACS is asking us to pay for them to return and fix the issue on a fully paid, brand new unit that they installed by them less than 5 months ago.

I feel misled and extremely frustrated with their lack of accountability and unwillingness to stand by their work. They’ve shown no commitment to resolving the issue without further cost to the customer. At this point, I wouldn’t trust them with any future services or recommend them to others.
