We decided to try this as an aftercare and thinking it would provide some good exercise as well as homework help. We were very wrong. Unless you want your kid to be a mma fighter, don’t waste your time. They sell themselves as being very helpful but in the end it was a disappointing experience. And worst of all, the front office manager placed the blame on the parents. What kind of business are they running? My seven yr old was punched in the face by an older boy. And later with no training, they decided to do some kind of chokes and now he is very scared. It’s not for everyone. Save your money. We wasted $120 on the uniform that was used for a few weeks. They wouldn’t even offer a partial refund for this overpriced uniform. Good riddance. and on top of this they play loud music with foul language for all kids from a young age of 5 to listen to.

Great place for whatever type of workout of disciplines to learn. I am saying Randy Barroso is the modern day Mr. Miyagi. He cares about his gym and his team. He will treat you like family and go out his way to show you how to be a better you. I go to his class and took my son and it is awesome. Doesn't matter what level you want to go to he can take you there. You will have the same experience I always have.

The best gym/dojo for kids and adults! The whole family can come here to train as they have various programs to choose from.
All the staff, coaches, and instructors are super friendly, and treat you like family. Hands down to Head Coach Randy! He's excellent, and has really great concern for the all children and adults, in and out of the mat, be they a student here, or just sibling(s) or family members tagging along to watch the classes/training. Same goes with the rest of the coaches and staff.
The overall atmosphere here is really great too,
My children are literally growing up here, from Pre-school to Highschool, and we've met a lot of interesting people whose families originated from different countries, and developed lifelong friendship with them.
Enrolling my children here was one of the best decisions we made for them as the training and discipline are really helping them a lot. It also makes us feel secure that our children will have knowledge in defending themselves, if ever the need arises.
Please take note too that the students here earned their belts through handwork, dedication, and discipline, and not just handed out like participation trophies. No pain, no gain, as the popular saying goes. One has to prove you earn it, in order to get it. No automatic promotion here.
Go try American Top Team Aventura/NMB for your self, and most specially for your kids. You won't find a better, and reasonable place.

Me and my family like this places so much: friendly atmosphere, excellent coaches who really love children and help them to get new skills. Recommended for constant visits: all of us perfectly know how it is important to do physical exercises! low rates are a great bonus!

This place is amazing. The facilities are great, but what makes it truly amazing is Randy. In just a few days my striking has improved more than months at a gym back home. I flinch way less, my switch kick is actually effective now, and I’m just way more comfortable sparring. Randy was able to pick up on all my deficiencies and address them in a manner that was so easy that it left me baffled. I’m honestly upset that I don’t live in Miami and can’t train here every day.
