Visiting DC from northeastern Pennsylvania and was specifically on the lookout for the DETOURS book. The staff were wonderful. The man who greeted me at the door complimented my jacket and made me feel very welcome. The two gentlemen at the checkout counter were so personable and helpful. (I wish I asked for their names.) Wonderful experience, can’t wait to visit again!

Great products, lack luster service. The manager was there and a bit preoccupied to help us. We were standing near him, and he made eye contact, so I asked a simple question about a backpack and was given a snarky answer by the manager. My wife and I were taken aback...

My wife bought a pair of shorts, reluctantly, only because she needed them. Otherwise, we'd have gone to REI or somewhere else with better service. I will continue to buy Arcteryx gear, but not at this store. Their management does not value customer service.

Was in DC for a weekend trip from Toronto. Decided to walk over and see if they by chance had a couple rain jackets in stock. (Out of stock everywhere we had previously). By luck they had both jackets in stock and on sale. Outstanding service from the entire staff. One of the staff (John, maybe) took the time to explain care of the jackets. Which products to use and how to use them to maintain the water sealing. Couldn't be happier. Thanks!

Tim provided one of the best in store experiences I have ever had, at any store! I went in only vaguely familiar with the brand and at the recommendation of my husband. Tim listened to what I was looking for and helped me find it! He took the time to show me little tips on each piece like adjusting the hood and different zipper functions. I am not only excited about my new jacket, but also about the brand, and shopping here again!
