Jeff was amazing! We’ve lived in the area for a while but his knowledge and stories made for a fantastic night. The walk was easy, the buildings beautiful, parking was free, and it was just a wonderful night all around. Highly recommend!

Jeff Clark is a local marvel. If you want a tour guide that feels like a fast friend or your favorite professor, look no further. He is an academic in heart, body, and soul, constantly both teaching and learning new things from his audience with a contagious passion. He will capture you with his charisma and have you marvel the seemingly mundane as he weaves the tales of times since past in Athens GA. From the paranormal to the historical, from local hearsay to up-to-date police reports, Jeff has you covered on the city's ghostly gossip. He may even take you "behind the scenes" in and around some local buildings to immerse you in the topics.

A veritable man-of-the-town, rambling thespian (I say affectionately and with great respect), and all-around friendly fellow, Jeff is the best gentleman to stroll through downtown Athens with. Be ready for wonderful company, colorful conversations, and creepy vibes! If I am ever visiting Athens again, I will be attempting to stay at Hotel Abacus and booking another tour to report to him directly!

Jeff is not just a historian. He in an ambassador for Athens. The tour was great, and Jeff was easy to work with, even pushing back the start of the tour while our group finished at the local brewery. Cannot recommend Jeff more highly. If you're a local or a visitor, a great tour for anyone to learn about the history and the mystery of Athens.

Jeff was an incredible guide on the Athens Haunted History Walking Tour we took last night (12/29)! He was super responsive to text message leading up to meeting him at the designated starting point. He told us so many interesting stories and walked us through a number of areas within Athens. He was extremely knowledgeable and charismatic throughout our walking tour and even kept us over the normal amount of time to share additional stories with us! We highly suggest booking this walking tour with Jeff if you are visiting Athens or even if you live there. Thanks for making the last night of our honeymoon so memorable! ❤️

Haunted history tours are my favorite way to learn about a new destination…you get a more intimate glimpse of the history—far beyond what you’d find in a textbook. Oftentimes you get the “juicer” stories too. I’ve been on a handful of tours now and I have to say that Jeff was the best! It’s so clear that he is passionate about history and loves what he does. His storytelling is phenomenal and Athens has some wild stories! We were actually staying at the Hotel Abacus and didn’t realize it was the starting place for the tour when we booked it! Jeff started with the history of both the foundry and some of the rooms plus accounts of encounters from current employees... Only got better from there! The pace was perfect, the town’s architecture is gorgeous, and Jeff was so nice with a great sense of humor! He kept a really good balance of history and hauntings, and things didn’t get overly spooky at any point, so I’d consider it appropriate for all ages (keeping in mind the stories of the departed’s demise are discussed!). Highly recommend!

My husband and I had a tour with Jeff today! It was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I loved learning about the history of Athens since it was our first time there ! I adore the creepy stories/ history of the place and Jeff was soo entertaining and funny! I would recommend this tour to the whole world if I could! Can’t wait to book another tour!

We had such a great experience with Jeff with Athens Haunted History Walking tours. We were visiting from NC and felt like it was a great way to get to know the history and ghost stories of Athens. We brought our two daughters with us (both 10 and under) and they absolutely loved it. Thank you for making it such an enjoyable tour for all ages!
