This is one of the worst outdoor swimming pools I have ever been to. Spectating views from the grandstand occluded 75% of the view by awnings over the starting blocks. You can however go to the other side and stand on uneven dirt with tree limbs to view. Timing devices broke leading to a half hour delay. The scoreboard is very outdated. There are Porta pots outside for spectators, but my daughter said several parents who were not supposed to be there in the locker room used the facilities. She also said they ran out of toilet paper and staff provided them with hand paper towels to use. 0/10- would not recommend.

As a recent transplant to Austin, I wasn't sure who to train with and stumbled on AASA after talking to some friends. I could not have made a better choice. The environment, including coaches and teammates, could not be more supportive and welcoming to new athletes. Our coaches genuinely care about each athlete and provide as much individual assistance as possible. The facilities are top notch and very well maintained. I feel like I've found a family here already and always look forward to working out with my teammates and coaches.

Absolutely the best gym I've ever trained with. Several years ago I gave up running due to injuries. I visited with the coaches at AASA and they convinced me to come in and train. The results have been unbelievable, I'm faster, stronger and more fit than ever. The coaches are the best, the facility and pool is amazing and the culture they've built is inspirational. Highly recommended if you want to perform your best!

I have trained with AASA well over a year - nearly two - and love the facility and the coaches. This group can and loves to work with all levels of ability, including total beginners. There are class offerings throughout the week and at different times, including the weekends. The pool is gorgeous. And best of all, it's an incredibly supportive environment.

This place is amazing! I've attended quite a few of AASA's workshops and clinics within this past year and I only have wonderful things to say about it. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable - they really only hire the best of the best to teach. Even though I'm not a full-time athlete with them, I always feel welcome waving "hello" to the teachers under the AASA team tent on triathlon days. If you are a beginner or veteran to triathlon, you will not be disappointed - I wish I had 6 stars to give 🙂

I've had the best experience here since I joined a little over a year ago. The coaching is top notch - it's personalized yet challenging. The facilities and equipment are state of the art. I originally came to find help for my swim, when I started to see a marked improvement, I added more training days here to help me on my bike. Not only did I see a great improvement on the bike but even my running has reached levels that I didn't think were possible. What's even better is that the strength sessions have helped me with my form and I have been injury free since I joined.

I have done trained here for well over a year, swim, run, bike, strength. This place is awesome. The pool is simply amazing. The coaches are fantastic. I have been pushed to new athletic heights since enrolling here. There are a complete range of athletes here who I find are very supportive, and with the breadth of top notch coaching this place simply rocks. 10/10

AASA has taken me to the next level in my triathlon training. The facilities are top notch, from the gorgeous Olympic pool to the high tech Kickr's to the cross training gear. The coaches are not only well educated and provide excellent advice, they are also great motivators and push you while having a lot of fun so you want to keep coming back. At AASA I've surrounded myself with amazing athletes of all levels without any pomp or intimidation. We are all here to push ourselves to be the best we can and feel great doing it . So happy to have been referred here!
