It's beautiful out there there was a wedding at the Dock .a young man from Moody Air Force bace proposed to his girlfriend on the dock . so they had their first forever kiss as Mr & Misses Hood. starting a New Chapter in Life as we know it.Congratulations and best wishes to you both.And the fireworks at the end of the ceremony were great. Enjoyed watching ? the wedding ? and fireworks ?

Beautiful lake. Has a very nice boardwalk to fish from or just walk and take in the beauty of the lake. Picnic tables are provided and it has bathrooms. There’s a nice walking trail too. Very nice and peaceful.

Absolutely gorgeous place to relax at or if you want to go fishing ten they have that too. You can rent a canoe for half a day or a full day and there is a shop there that I believe carries bait. My kids love getting breakfast and sitting at the table on the pier and its absolutely free to do. I recommend this place for one person or a group outing. The trail is closed currently due to a tree failing down, but it will be back up and walkable soon.

This place is gorgeous. I really enjoyed looking at the water in the morning. The space is well cared for.

It's not really a place to walk. The trail is only 1/2 a mile, but it's still lovely for a brief visit. If I'd gone out on the water, I certainly would have spent more time.

Quiet an amazing lake to visit in this sleepy town. You can rent a canoe for about $20 and spend hours paddling around without ever seeing the entire thing.
If you are relatively quiet and attentive, you can see plenty of alligators and several varieties of birds.

While we did not fish on this visit, there were several people fishing when we were there who seemed to be having good luck.

If you have the time to visit and spend several hours, I would highly recommend a visit.

This truly is a serene location. There are walking trails as well as a nice pier with spots to test your fishing pole. I will always stop by when near! ?

Very pretty GA lake. Gives you a different perspective on the stereotype of Swamp. This was my second trip to GA and we decided to see some of the local wilderness and parks. Very pretty area, would be fun to take a boat out on the lake too.
