What a lovely little escape. My friend and I came here on a Saturday, looking for a comfortable place to do some writing. We were warmly welcomed and found a cozy spot in the back by the library. We shared a delicious pancake that well paired with a Turkish coffee and a drink I had not had so authentically since my time spent traveling in North Africa - Bedouin Whiskey (a delightful herbal tea). I cannot think of a better way to spend a winter afternoon. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We look forward to our next visit شكرا

Five Stars all the way! I appreciate the authenticity, the creativity, and the sheer effort that is so obvious when you enter this delightful cafe. Everything I tried is delicious and fresh and prepared beautifully. This wonderful spot is the highlight of any trips I have been making to Brooklyn lately. I can't decide what I love most about it, - but if forced to choose, between the books, the drinks and food, the vibe, and the people, - I love the people the most. We need more of these unique personal initiatives, this is a home away from home in the greatest sense. This Barzakh Cafe is a throwback to New York when it was as its best, when we have innovators and creative people taking initiatives. We all owe a huge thank you to the owner's for opening this very cool place.

Beautiful find. The woman who greeted and served me was so welcoming and adorable just like the cafe. Their brownie was a delicious satisfaction (taste and portion), went perfectly with my oat cappuccino.

Nice Arabian cafe with African teas and good decor and vibes. Ambiance was amazing. The teas were nice just wish they had good cups to serve them in. And I believe they also do events.

Such a wonderful hangout spot in the neighborhood, the inside is so cozy and well decorated. Their food is delicious, especially the soup, and drinks are also great! We had a great time there for hours as they are so friendly and welcoming. Very excited to have this place.

Lovely vibe in this friendly neighborhood cafe! The tea selection is nice. They were able to accommodate a large group of us last minute in their cosy back room. Will definitely come here again ❤️
