Discovered an AC repair service at a home improvement expo. They addressed all our queries, did an on-site assessment, and gave us a quote. We opted for a multi-split AC system with a heat pump. It fulfilled our needs without significantly increasing our electricity bill. However, the system's power went off due to a dislodged main power coupler (not the main breaker). We reached out to them and they responded promptly the following day. Nicholas found that it was not a major issue and probably wasn't installed properly initially. He checked the entire installation and the main breaker box, and confirmed there were no problems. We would definitely recommend this AC repair service.

Out of curiosity, I put out a general call for recommendations on Facebook, and surprisingly, the unanimous suggestion was still this same company. Now that I've experienced their services, I completely understand the high praise. Their service was excellent. I was aware that I needed a new AC unit before the temperature rose, and they provided informative advice about the condition of my furnace too. This led me to decide on replacing both, as well as swapping the old Wi-Fi thermostat which the previous owners installed, for a new one due to its unpredictable behavior. Nicholas examined the ducts in my basement and discovered that they inexplicably reduced in size. He proceeded to replace them with larger ducts, and the immediate result was a noticeable improvement in my home's heat level. The new thermostat, a Bosch, maintains the right temperature without any random shutdowns, a common issue with the old one. No more unwelcome chills! I can now see why this company comes highly recommended.

Since the original installation, we've experienced a few hiccups, such as a lack of heat, no air conditioning, a whistling sound from a return vent, and the heat pump making loud noises. However, their technician, Nicholas, visited our home numerous times to efficiently resolve each issue. Nicholas was thorough in explaining every action he took and was devoted to rectifying each problem. He even came back to remove two thermostats and a control panel, reconfigure the heat pump, and install two new different thermostats and a new control panel compatible with our system. Nicholas showed exemplary dedication in ensuring our HVAC system was operating at 100% before his departure. His patience, diligence, and commitment make him a valuable asset.

As promised, they arrived on time at our place to rectify our heating issue. The professional who arrived, Gary, was quite affable and worked proficiently. He had our heating system up and running in no time. Gary explained the issue to us and discussed various cost options. We highly recommend Gary as an AC repair technician. The only minor hiccup was when the representative at the show mentioned that our $50 diagnostic fee would be waived if our repair exceeded $250 (ours was slightly over $400). However, this fee was included in our repair cost. When I inquired about this via email, I was informed that I needed to be a club member, which wasn't previously communicated. This was the reason for the initial 4-star rating. But, all in all, we had a great experience!
