This was one of the most lovely experiences I’ve ever had the pleasure of attending! We toured Jersey City having a little bit of food and some amazing drinks at each stop! I will not reveal where we went, but, our hostess Alessia is always mixing it up anyway! Constantly changing locations and restaurants so you are never bored.

But let me just say I had an absolutely amazing time trying some delicious food at places I had never been! I also appreciated a little bit of history we got at every stop! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves Jersey city or wants to experience it!

We went to Red Bank NJ with Beyond the Plate. What great food and loads of fun. Our guide Elena was incredible, very knowledgeable from the kitchen to the front of the house. I'd definitely recommend this tour. Come hungry, you'll enjoy it. We're planning on doing Jersey City and Somerset soon.

We booked this tour for our corporate event. We had such an absolutely amazing experience on the food tour! The guide was fantastic—so knowledgeable, friendly, and full of great stories that made the tour so much fun. Every stop had incredible food, and I was blown away by the huge portions! I came hungry, and I left completely stuffed and happy. Each dish seemed to top the last, and it felt like I was really getting to know the local culture through the food. Highly recommend this tour if you're looking for great eats and a great time!

Alessia took us in a wonderful food tour in the parts of Jersey City we would never have seen otherwise. Each stop was perfectly curated and we loved being able to support our local business community. Can’t see enough how delicious Andrea Salumeria, Irma’s Cafe, El Gordo, Griot Cafe, and Stack Creamery were! We are still dreaming of those ice cream sandwiches and can’t wait to book again!

I booked the tour for my sister's bachelorette party and it was absolutely amazing! Our Red Bank tour guide Elena was so knowledgeable and hospitable. The food at each venue was different and tasty. Beyond the Plate Food Tours staff were communicative throughout the planning process and I'm delighted by the customized dessert and mocktail options. My sister really enjoyed it. The walking in between venues really helped digestion lol.

I had no idea what to expect when I booked a Beyond the Plate Food Tour. Alessia was amazing to work with from start to finish. She helped to plan an amazing day for a bachelorette party. Our tour guide Kyle was phenomenal and we even asked him to hang out with us after our tour bar hopping! This was such an experience and something everyone needs to try.
