If there is one place in the Bishop area that I would like to see great success, it would be the Bishop Creek Lodge.

Now I can't speak for the rooms, I've never stayed there, but they have a restaurant that's absolutely beautiful and family friendly.

Unfortunately I am understanding that the place is not publicized enough and the restaurant may be closing down. But! ... They will still be open for evening entertainment on the weekends.

I've never met more accommodating, friendly people.

And for the more domesticated campers, from what I understand, this is the place to go for showers! 🙂

This trip was the first time visit for me but I will say on future visits this will be a regular stop. 5++ Stars

We loved the lodge. Nice and clean. Stayed for 2 nights, cabin #4. Fantastic friendly staff. Our stay was quiet and peaceful, helping us recharge. Excellent fishing spots close by. Will visit again, next time with a few friends to enhance our visit.

We had a lovely week spent at the Bishop Creek Lodge. Firstly, the staff at the lodge were incredibly hospitable and friendly. They made us feel so welcome and really were so eager to help us. The breakfast in the morning at the lodge was muffins, bagels, coffee, oj, and cereal. The cabin we had cabin 1, a one bedroom cabin with a kitchen and bathroom. The cabin was warm (if you closed the bathroom door), the sheets were clean and everything worked perfectly. We brought a sponge and dosh soap for washing dishes which I would recommend. Overall just a wonderful memorable experience and so grateful for the BCL

thoroughly enjoyed our father/daughter long weekend with you over Fishmas recently. Olivia was very welcoming & accommodating as was her staff, especially Lindsay. Our cabin #5 was most comfortable & warm. Your food & bar service was delightful.

We had a wonderful mini vacation here at bishop creek lodge. We went up for FISHMAS and there was still snow on the banks of the creeks and a few folks were even ice fishing! The cabins were cozy and the heater was nice as it got pretty cold each night.

Location is perfect but I would stay in a hotel next time. Seems like you are paying for the location rather than the accommodation. Even though the place looks clean, the coffee maker wasn’t, the utensils were like untouched from a garage sale, even the pots were like worn out~ something you picked up from a curb. We didn’t even bother using the toaster. The ref was working, so as the microwave and the oven. Clean towels. The extra fleece blanket on the closet was not fresh, I used almost half a roll of lint roller and I gave up when I saw some dead bugs?/tiny black thingy. On our last night the power went out but the facility didn’t. There were spiders ?️ but understandable since you’re in natural surroundings. The free breakfast was not worth going into unless you are really starving. For the price you pay you expect something worth it.

LOVE,LOVE, LOVE the Bishop Creek Lodge and the family and staff that run it.
My family just rented 3 of the cabins and we were there for a full week.
If you expect luxury and being pampered this is not for you.
This is rustic charm in an adorable very clean fishing cabin. The bed linens and towels were like brand new. Beds all comfortable! The kitchen is stocked with mostly everything you could need. The shower is Hot! The BBQ is small, but we brought our blackstone and it worked out great. The food in the restaurant was simple but good and there is no where else to go on the mountain for dinner on a Friday or Saturday night.
It is in the tree's with water running thru it which my dog loved, Yes they are pet friendly. It is nestled against the mountain, simple and quiet, at least after we left (there were 12 of us).
I have been cleaning fish at their fish cleaning station for years and frequenting the store, bar and restaurant, I am HAPPY to have stayed here and look forward to my next visit!
