We were there from about 8-10:30 and the kids all had a blast! Stella at the surf feature was AMAZING! Helping the kids try the surf feature, explaining the technicalities, their personal cheer leader. She was GREAT!

The kids LOVED the indoor water park! They all gave it 5 stars!
From the adult perspective it was fairly disorganized from check-in to the food court. It seemed under staffed and many of the employees were so young (likely HS kids) that they weren't sure how to help.
Overall it was a fun quick trip and the connected hotel was clean and comfortable.

Waterpark was amazing. Both days bartender was late getting set up and open. Second day was over an hour. While it’s a park for kids, there’s a bar for adults to enjoy. I noticed the first day service was slow. Drinks are poured lightly ( I understand due to location the goal is not to get parents intoxicated). I had 4 drinks in the span of about 9 hours, so obviously not looking to get wasted. The second day about 9 people were seated at and around the bar waiting since about 10:45. Once she opened at NOON, I gave 15 minutes of waiting at the bar, after an hour onlooking from the table. Then right before she comes to my side, A woman walks up and sits to the right of me. She finishes the other people’s drinks to the right of that woman and asked her what she wanted to drink, and that woman looked at me and the two fellas behind me and said they were here before me in the bartender says well I’m going in line.! Like what? You have patrons that have waited over an hour. You had patron standing in line for at least 15 minutes and some lady just walks up to the bar and you serve her first especially when she said she just got there. I left and sat down. When I do go back today , she will not be getting tipped. And being in the bar business in the past, I tip well, as I did yesterday. The only adult spot in the place and the treatment of the adult paying for everything was rude and inconsiderate …. Like we don’t have kids and or teens with us who are waiting at the table or anything. would’ve given it five stars except like I said to be treated like that as an adult and the only interactive place for adults in the entire building considering I’m the one that paid for everybody’s entry for this part I don’t expect to be treated like that SMH little blonde with a long ponytail.

This is a nice place to come and stay. I would have given more stars but they really seem to be short staffed. Or at least when we went. We showed up well after check in time and our room was not ready for another 2 hours. They let us down to pass the time. I did find it odd that there were a ton of wet towels laying next to and on the power sources for the elevators.

Paid over $100 for three tickets, which I had to have one to supervise two twelve year olds. when I would supervise, a couple very young lifeguards would constantly offer me a tube to swim, I said no just watching, so they would tell me to move then, which I was in no one's way or not passing a boundary line. it just became rude so I sat down, not being able to "supervise" ... filled out a waiver to use the diving board after the hotel said we could use it if staying, but was kicked out of the diving board "because it's closed" also floating devices were taken from kids, after they were already in the pool being used. these things are understandable if they are in the rules, or posted, and not if certain employees say it's fine yet others rudely don't. no reason to be rude to us when we didn't know. also, all of us developed a cough and still have a cough two days later, in assuming because of the high levels of chlorine as being described by many others. the kids had fun, most lifeguards (especially surf pool) were kind, but a few really need lessons on how to treat others. we shouldn't be punished for what we don't know and treated like slaves on our vacation. we also had to wait 40 minutes to get our bracelets, due to technical errors. just wasn't a very relaxing experience after driving 2.5 hours to visit.

Honestly, two stars is generous. The extra star is for the women at the front desk who were nice.

I paid over $320 for tickets, mind you, I paid for these tickets a week in advance. I seen an ad on Facebook for Blast Off Bay, and a comment regarding workers being sent to the ER for breathing in high levels of chlorine.

I hoped that it would be corrected by the time our family went, however the minute you step into the water pad area, intense burning of the eyes & after a few minutes, skin irritation. There were small babies there, including my 4 month old. Not safe, I think our family stayed for 20 minutes before realizing the money wasn’t worth the risk and decided to leave.

Lasting headache & burning sensation in eyes even hours after leaving.

Super disappointed, because the safety of guests should be their main priority however it seems money talks for this business because they never even notified people of the issues they were having with the chlorine levels. Will not be back & will not recommend others to go either.

We went to Blast off bay for my son’s 10th birthday this year. They made it particularly special for him and all his friends because they all stayed on top of when the guests arrived and bringing out the pizza at a good time after. The waterpark was phenomenal and he liked it a lot. They even put my cupcakes in the fridge and my son’s little birthday slushy on the way home was the top. Thank you so much to Jeff for making this year’s birthday so awesome, shout out for even helping get our things to the car and you sure made it special, I appreciate the staff and thank you all so much

We came as part of a special event so our admission was heavily discounted. It was free for 2 and under. Kids (7 and 2) had a great time on everything. They are the perfect age for the small toddler area and the large fort. We got a large pizza, snacks, and drinks and it was around $35 for all of that. Not a bad price for dinner for a family of four. The big slides were also great. Two reasons for the 3 star review: first, safety/ineffective lifeguards. They were all very nice and respectful, but they didn't seem to be watching very well or have a lot of authority. There was an incident with vomit (I think) in one of the pools and it seemed like it took them forever to shut everything down and get kids out of the pool. That's gross and should've been a much smoother, faster, and better process. Second reason for the 3 star review was the surf station. That's their unique attraction and they leave it open for ONE SINGLE HOUR and that's it. We were there from 4-8pm, it was open from 6-6:50. Like water slides are OK but that was the thing that's unique about this park and they don't even let people use it? Very disappointing. Not sure I'd come back if it was regular price but we enjoyed the time and felt it was a good value with the special event discount.
