Just yes... a must stop and worth a trek from where ever you are. This place did not disappoint in any way shape or form. Everything from the food to the service was spectacular. We ordered the Beef rib plat that hit all the levels of excellence. The meet loaf was elevated to perfection and had me wanting to eat more. We also had the Salmon pork belly sandwich that worked so good. I never thought about pairing them but it was fantastic. We finished it off with the bread pudding which continued to show the same level of elevation that the rest of the dishes showed. We will absolutely be back here. Staff and servers were very friendly and knowledge about the dishes they served. A must visit if your in town.

Even on a Tuesday, this place is packed, so words to the wise: make reservations or plan to sit at the bar. (It seats 6-7 at most.) The great part of sitting at the bar (which we did. because I'm not always wise) is that you get to watch Tim (the bartender) in his natural habitat. He is fantastic!! Probably the #1 thing I talk about in reviews is "the hustle." Not the dance. I'm talking about do they care about their job? Do they get sh*t done Yes, and yes! Tim zooms around while talking, making mixed drinks, and taking orders.
We also got to chat with the owner and she taught us all about the terracotta mugs used for the Mexican margaritas. So interesting!
All in all, the food, service, and ambiance was amazing. An easy 5 star review.

It is not often I am impressed when I go out to eat anymore. It is my "hobby" to travel and experience different foods and it takes a lot to find anything new.

My lunch today at Boards and Barrels was a wonderful treat! Service was exceptional. Thank you McKinsey. Attentive, knowledgeable, customer focused, etc. The restaurant is small and intimate. Tiny bar. We enjoyed the atmosphere.

The food was very creative , delicious and well presented. On top of all this the prices were great!

I will support this restaurant often as it is the best in WP. It could easily do well in a much bigger city. Thankful the owners have provided this delicious experience in WP.

Came with friends last night and everything was amazing! The staff were very friendly, atmosphere was warm and inviting and the food knocked it out of the park. Just when we thought we were full the dessert menu came out and suddenly we were hungry again. Highly recommend the homemade mango ice cream. We will be back again!

Amazing addition to Woodland Park. We sat at the bar, and the bartender is awesome and super knowledgeable. I had the banana bread-inspired cocktail and the peach-inspired cocktail: both were incredibly nuanced and not too sweet, really fantastic drinks. They are also planning to open up the patio and extend the bar to make it more comfortable. This place is way better than Swiss Chalet, hands down ?. They also have a great dessert drink menu. To eat, we got one of the charcuterie boards, and it was actually very filling for two people. Our total bill came out to around $80 before tip, which is very reasonable for the quality of food and drinks, especially in this area.

Pleasantly surprised by how awesome this place turned out. Good food and drink from an imaginative menu. Service was the friendliest I've ever received in a Colorado restaurant. (Nicole in particular was a very attentive server.) I do wish the bar was more comfortable to sit at. But that is a minor quibble for an experience this good. I'll be back.

We took a wrong turn in Manitou, drove up the hill and found this gem! The service was outstanding and snaps to the mixologist. We sat at the bar (looking forward to when they extend the bar top out where it will be a bit more practical) and had excellent drinks, food, conversations and entertainment watching all the drinks being prepared. Our meals were the bourbon bbq shrimp app, spicy watermelon pork belly and blueberry bbq glazed meatloaf. Delicious! We finished with a rum mango ice cream. We cannot wait until our next visit to try more of the menu. And cocktails! There is also a nice patio for outdoor dining.

Boards & Barrels Bistro and Whiskey House was worth the wait. Having missed the old Swiss Chalet, we were happy to visit today. Only opened for a week, it does have some timing issues with food coming out, but that is to be expected. But the wait, was definitely worth it. Compliments to the new owners and chef and the exceptional waitstaff for making our experience so wonderful.
