Great place for an awesome party. We had a celebration of marriage party here. One of the couples (Emma & James) was married 71 years! Certainly shows us that marriage still works. It’s an arrangement from God. Include Jehovah God in your marriage and it will be stronger. What God has yoked together let no man separate!” Cake was made by Bjs. Collage by Anna.

As a homeowner in the Bonaire, I am very pleased with the facility and people. I like the transparency of the board and the continuous efforts to have social events for the Bonaire community.

I love living in friendly environment. Well maintained building with new roof and elevator. Other improvements like parking lot paving this fall and new pretty landscaping.

It had alright amenities but the management and Board of Directors were atrocious to deal with. We were thrilled to have sold. Never lived anywhere we liked less.

Given the tiny, chopped up units (Avalon Trails now being managed by Lennar, or someone) being built on what was once our golf course, and given the cheap look of the units (imo, but they mostly have no screened in porch, that's extra, and the stucco doesn't cover the concrete blocks), and given that they are priced at over 330K (but prices seem to be dropping) for a tiny villa, and around 500k for a relatively small single family home, I so much appreciate how much space I have at Bonaire Village, and I appreciate I have a huge screened in porch and a perfectly designed layout. It's true that no place is perfect. But one can buy at Bonaire Village ( a 2/2, 1060 sq ft plus large porch) for $120ish if not updated, 150ish for updated units) so I don't understand paying 330K+ or so when you can get a better designed unit at less than half the price. You can buy at Bonaire and update to your heart's content - your dream retirement home-for 150ish! Oh, and Avalon Trails/Lennar is tough to access because you have to drive through the middle of Oriole Village Condominiums to a single entrance for the entire new community. You can throw your money away, or buy at Bonaire Village for rock-solid construction and experience a very diverse, kind, and exciting community. Also, it's true Avalon Trails/Lennar has stupendous walking/biking paths, but that's accessible to Bonaire Village for free! And a pool is a pool, no more and no less. Bonaire Village is fantastic, I've been here 9 years, and you can't beat the space NOR THE STUPENDOUS OLD-GROWTH landscaping, nor the excellent maintenance staff. I, personally, have a north-facing-only porch and so I live outside all year long to spectacular views. This place is for one and all, check it out.
