I recently hosted my son’s 8th birthday party at Bricks and Minifigs SLO. It was so convenient! Shannon, the owner, was super responsive, professional, informative, and prepared the day of. It was easy to book over the phone and as the date approached, Shannon was good about following up for reminders and confirmations. The day of the party, the room was already decorated and so was the surrounding area just outside the big party room. Shannon was amazing with the kids and kept the party moving and on track. The staff at the store, the day of, was also very accommodating and helpful if any other needs arose during the party (which there were every few). We had some last minute guest additions, that had never RSVP’d, and Shannon was flexible, understanding, and quickly adjusted the party to allow the other kids to join. The best part of the party, for me, is that Shannon provides the clean up once the party is done!!!! As a busy mom, this was an amazing perk! She had the room already decorated AND did the clean up! All I had to do was bring the food and the cake! Incredibly convenient!!!! My son and his friends had a blast and many of the other parents commented how the party was great because it was interactive and kept the kids busy the whole time they were there. Plus, each kid built and took home a Minifig, so it could double as a party favor and something that each kid customized to their own personality. It was interesting to see how different each Minifig was. Overall, I would recommend this location for birthday parties in the future! It’s easy for the parents and absolutely fun for the kids! Plus, Shannon and the staff are just awesome. Thank you Shannon for making my son’s special day seamless and fun! We will be back again!!!!!

Bricks & Minifigs in downtown SLO is such an amazing store. They have buckets you can fill for a flat rate of loose bricks. TONS of mini figs for individual sale from all types of Fandoms from Harry Potter, Star Wars and much more. They have huge displays of a lot of the big LEGO sets such as multiple pirate ships. If you’re a collector of mini figs you NEED to visit this place.

We had an amazing experience having our son’s 8th bday party here. Shannon was an amazing host who did a fantastic job communicating with us at every stage of the planning process and made sure everything ran smoothly. The price is very reasonable for what you get and the kids had a blast! The highlights from a parent’s perspective were:
- the kids got to build and keep their own minifigs
- the building room upstairs is separated from the parents “lounge” so we had our own place to gather
- Shannon led the party and kept the kids busy and entertained throughout
- you’re allowed to bring your own food and drinks
- The staff handled the setup and cleanup

Overall, this was an A+ experience and we would happily have a party here again. Thanks to the staff at the SLO Bricks and Minifigs and huge shoutout to Shannon!

We recently celebrated our 7 year olds birthday here. The kids had a blast! Everyone at the store was great to work with. Communication was excellent from the planning stage through the day of the party. The activities were a hit with all of the kids and everyone was excited to take home their own Minifig at the end of the party. Thank you, Bricks and Minifigs, for creating a fun space to make memories!

We love this store. Not only do they have great products (my kids love their bulk bins where they can find missing Lego pieces to complete their sets!), but they also throw the best birthday parties. We just threw my son’s 6th birthday party there in one of their event rooms and it was perfect. They had everything set up for us (even down to the Lego themed plates and napkins and forks!). All I had to bring was the cake (or donuts in our case) and snacks for the guests and they took care of the rest! (Even the cleanup!). The guests enjoyed every minute of the party! Thank you to Shannon and your team for making it the best birthday party yet!

I recently hosted my son's birthday party at Bricks and Minifigs, and it was absolutely fantastic! Working with Shannon, the owner, was a delight. She was incredibly accommodating and kind throughout the planning process. The highlight was the fantastic race track where the kids built derby-like Lego cars and raced them – a big hit! All the children got to create custom Minifigs to take home, adding a personal touch to the celebration.

The attention to detail in providing a comfortable room with tasteful decorations, tables, chairs, and tablecloths was impressive. The birthday boy even received a special gift from the owners, and the 10% discount on purchases that day was a nice touch.

Overall, this birthday party was truly one for the books. The owners' kindness and their excellent handling of events make Bricks and Minifigs highly recommendable. It's a place where creativity, fun, and great service come together seamlessly.
