I've played here a couple of times over the years and have never had a bad time. Though this is not my favorite course, I will return. The mountain view course has a couple of mud puddles on the fairway around the fourth or fifth holes. Some of the trees need to be limbed up on the back nine. The lake view course has more pathways and water obstacles however less sand traps!

If you book through golfnow they have deals for less than $35. I can't imagine people playing $100 to play at this course.

Not worth more than the $35 you play but it is a nice enough course.

Greens are terrible shape and so are tee boxes. Overall inconsistent behavior as some tee boxes are quite hard and some are softer. Greens are inconsistent speeds and firmness

If I could give 0 stars I would.

Had Rumple shots cut with peppermint liquor. Waited over 2 hours to see the lights, emergency bell on trolley was broken. Bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and I had to ask the woman next to me for toilet paper because y’all failed to properly stock the bathrooms. Then we paid over $200 for our family to Zip Line we were greeted extremely rudely by the gate agent, and then we were told it was going to be an extra $26 per person just to get access to the zip line. Our overall experience was absolutely terrible.

Their only saving grace was our Zip Line instructors they were awesome and gave us an amazing experience.

Read the last review and had the opposite experience. Played both courses. First played Lakeview course because it was the one open on Tuesday. Started off ok, on the first few holes but , by the time we had gotten across the street ALL the holes by the big flagpole and all around the lake (by the boathouse) it was like playing in a pasture! The fairway was as long as the rough, which was anywhere from 4 to 6 inches long (if not longer). A couple Tee boxes were just carved out of the long grass at the beginning of the fairway. I really started getting upset when I started loosing balls IN THE FAIRWAY!! Funny thing is we were told it was 90° rule, on the course that day, for carts. IMPOSSIBLE! You couldn't see your ball when you were 3 feet from it, let alone from the cart path.
Was thinking I must be a glutton for punishment because we actually came back the next day to play Mountain View (but I came to golf). Well I was pleasantly surprised to find this course in great shape. Fairways were groomed and greens were in really good shape, not like the last review. Lots of bunkers protecting the greens made for a nice challenge. If I could rate the two courses separately I would but, after reading the reviews, I guess you never know what you are going to get.

This course was AMAZING! I loved it!! I enjoyed every minute of it. So beautiful, and worth every penny. I only give it four stars, as it’s definitely not as good or well kept as some of the top courses in the world, but still probably one of the most beautiful in the country.

I only played the Lakeview course. I didn’t get a chance to play the Mountain course.

Played the Mountain View course this week and was very disappointed in condition. Greens were burned out, bare in many locations, only 1 green was completely grassed. Very bumpy to putt on. Bunkers lacked sand and liner sticking out of most, plus grass was growing in the bunkers. Tee boxes ok, except they were hard as a brick. Fairways were dry and crusty, great roll, but dusty and had to roll ball to get a decent lie. Great layout, needs
a lot of TLC. Staff was nice, bar and grill were good.

Played there last week and it was a sad experience. Could be a gem of a course, and has the potential to be the best 36 holes in the region. However, the ownership obviously does not invest in the golf course portion of the Gardens. Greens were extremely fuzzy and weeded. Bunkers had grass growing inside of them. Lots of weeds and sticks in the rough areas, and very little attention and care for the course.
