ima be straight up with y’all. I’ve been going to this camp for 10 years and it is the highlight of my summer every year. The friends you make, the new activities you can play in whether you are at camp or not, and even the counselors are awesome! Plus I am a type 1 diabetic and this camp has nurses that are super helpful. Overall I 100% recommend sending your kids here or if you are a kid like me show your parents this review and make plans to go! See ya soon!

Started sending my daughter for daycamp last year, and it's been great! Tested it out for my son this year and he's liking it so far. Tons of outside activity and fun games the counselors coordinate. The rainy day activities can tend to be a little repetitive and boring according to them, but we've been lucky enough to not have had to many. Spots fill up very fast so make sure you know when registration opens!

What I love about Manitoqua Christian Camp is that it provides a safe and welcoming environment for children to grow in their faith while having fun. My child has attended the camp for four years and has always come home with stories of new friends made and exciting experiences had.

The staff at Manitoqua are top-notch, and it is clear that they truly care about each and every camper. They create an atmosphere of positivity, kindness, and encouragement that is contagious. The facilities are well-maintained and provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay for the kids.

I can’t tell you how grateful I am to have found this camp for my son. I was so nervous because this was the first time sleep overnight for camp. All I can say is he had tears in his eyes because he wasn’t ready to leave. He spoke so highly of the staff and the pastor there. He even taught me his favorite song about the “Fire”. The grounds were very clean and everyone was nothing but cheerful and welcoming. We will be back again maybe this time for two weeks. Thank you for giving my son an amazing end to his summer!

I cannot say enough good things about this camp! Every experience we have had there has been incredible. My son his head nothing but the best time enjoying each and every outdoor activity imaginable! No electronics here just good old fashioned fun!

The facility is always clean and well maintained. The owners and employees are active within the community. One of the most memorable things is the fact today make a camp city when your child has an overnight experience their. You get to see all the fun they have had on their own and it just makes your heart smile.

My church has a church picnic every year. It's a great time for all of us to just get together. I had to look for a new location this year and I was so nervous this being our first visit here let me just tell you that the staff is so amazing. The location was BEAUTIFUL and it was clean all the way from the pool locker rooms to the picnic tables. Great for kids. The pool is very clean and safe. They usually have about 5 lifeguards even though the pool depth is just 3ft but precautions are always important. If you are like us and have a lot of adults going and you think 3ft won't be enough trust me its a great time to just get refreshed and relax on a super hot day. Overall I am just so grateful that we were able to find this location and I can't wait to come back next year. Thank you!

I went to Camp Manitoqua about three years ago and LOVED IT! The campgrounds were very nice and clean along with the rooms. Our counselor was super friendly and taught us very important facts about Christ. The experience was just one of the best I've had. I'm going back this Summer. Again FIVE STARS!!!

Daughters second summer at Rez camp, the weeklong overnight camp. Both her and I were more than excited to have some independence and free time to ourselves this summer hehe. I wrote this on my second free day since she’s been gone. 🙂 Also if anyone is worried about the old water reviews I could say the water did NOT smell like rotten eggs this past week and they must have corrected the issue long ago because since at least last year it did not; but hey, it is a camp ?. This place is great ? do not hesitate to send your child for daycamp/ or the overnights you really won’t regret it.

My daughter raves about the food service they use, it’s similar to the schools IN Skokie and Park ridge- perhaps identical same place.
