What an absolutely beautiful location for our November wedding!!!! We had about 80 people, with a DJ, a lovely Bonfire outside, and room for kids to run around and dancing! The bathrooms were spacious and clean, and perfect for a bride to use as needed. Our avid hunters in the family loved the lodge feel. It was gorgeous 😍 The nature surrounding the lodge was perfect for photos and the larger stone fire pit was perfect for a larger fire for a family gathering the night before. This location is a bargain to rent for 2 days at $600! We highly recommend renting this for your next family get together ❤️

Nice quiet area to get away or have a private event. Main lodge is quite spacious and has a nice fire circle with benches and large surprisingly comfortable rocks to sit on

My friends had their wedding and reception here; it is a nice event space with better-than-expected acoustics for the amount of hard surfaces inside the lodge.

One thing that caught people off guard was the lack of potable water, in the kitchen or elsewhere. We ended up buying several gallons of water elsewhere. The owner should alert people renting the space about the water situation.

Aside from this, the grounds are nice, the ability to have a fire on the patio is a classy touch, and we all left satisfied with the venue after the reception. It's definitely a hidden gem.

It may be a little hidden away, but worth the little Drive outside of Fort Dodge. Use as a graduation or family reunion venue.. very nice!
