Canyoning Colorado was one of the best experiences my husband and I have ever had! We enjoyed every single minute on the Combo Angel Creek & Portland Creek Tour and Ryan was awesome. He was patient and guided us through each waterfall with the best tips and tricks for rappelling. Highly recommend and can't wait to do this again. Ryan took amazing photos and made the experience personable and memorable.

Thank you Canyoneering Colorado for an incredible "bucket list" adventure. Bear Creek is something we wanted to use a professional guide to do and Ryan was the perfect person to do it with. He asked us about our experience and comfort levels and quickly assessed how things should run, and paced us accordingly. In the end, it felt like we were just running a canyon with a trusted friend.

Did an early August trip on the Portland route with Ryan and Kevin. It was really fun and they were both fantastic. I was worried that later in the season it wouldn't be as fun due to lower flows but it was perfect. Rappelling was so fun! The canyon is pretty and it is really cool walking through it and seeing the power of water and all the cool rocks. I'd recommend the intermediate trip if you're comfortable or doing the Portland & Angel combo because the half-day went too quick!

My dad and I went on the beginner Combo Angel Creek & Portland Creek Tour. The trip itself was a once in a lifetime experience, getting to see parts of Colorado others couldn’t even dream of seeing.

Corey, our guide was amazing! She was knowledgeable, extremely supportive, and prioritized our safety. Corey took time to talk to and get to know each of us. It made the trip very special and memorable.

We did both Angel’s Creek and Portland Creek. Dawson was our guide and it was the first time either of us had ever canyoned. We both had an excellent time and never had any concerns for our safety. It was one of the highlights of our vacation, try it if you never have, it was a blast.

This was our first time canyoning and wow! We had an excellent guide, Corey. She was patient, fun, energetic and a confidence builder. A couple from our group were nervous and anxious but after the first rappel down, their nerves had calmed. The walk up with the equipment is all uphill, but Corey went at our pace. She was engaging and matched our energy which made things 10x more fun. She also took some great photos of us during the activity and was kind enough to join in on a few we took. One of the best experiences on this trip and want to take my nieces now. If you can, ask for Corey!

Our guide Ryan was amazing at helping us feel safe, and informed. I booked this knowing it might push my kids comfort level. We’re not as a whole the most graceful but we were able to take our time and make a lasting memory. Water was running pretty good in middle of June which made it even better. I would say it’s not for everyone, you need to be somewhat flexible and able pull and hold your weight. Definitely not hard but you’ll have sore muscles if you’re not already in good shape.

Superb experience. Ryan and Justin were fun and informed guides, with total attention to safety. The trip down Bear Creek canyon was spectacularly beautiful and the rappels in a running canyon were a blast. Totally manageable for anyone in decent shape. We didn’t even have to carry packs which made movement very easy. Highly recommend, we will be back for another trip.
