We come to Capitola several times a year. This is by far our favorite place to stay. It’s in the heart of the village. Super friendly staff. The rooms are so comfortable and clean. We stayed in the Martinique. Very quiet. We have stayed in many of their rooms and this room along with Grand Cayman are our favorites. But you really can’t go wrong with any of them. They have complimentary continental breakfast in the morning. Walking distance to everything. We will definitely be back again!

it’s not often that I write a review but the warm and wonderful experience that my wife & I had at the Capitola Hotel was absolutely stellar! In large part it is due to the gracious & welcoming staff - specifically Julie who made certain that every detail of our stay was met with many of her thoughtful touch’s! From coordinating our dinner reservations at the fabulous Shadow Brook restaurant with limo service to helping us explore the beautiful surroundings areas with all of her great recommendations! In fact, our stay was so nice that we will be returning again this month with friends that are celebrating their wedding anniversary! We loved our stay at the Capitola Hotel! The separate entrance gave us a sense of privacy, and the bed was incredibly comfy. The room was spotless, and the location couldn’t have been better—perfect for exploring the area. Highly recommend!

Such a quaint hotel in the heart of Capitola across from the restaurants and beach. Staff is very friendly and the rooms are cozy and comfortable. There’s a lovely patio for all to enjoy. A continental breakfast is offered in the mornings. Walking distance to everything you need in Capitola.

Perfect 5 stars in every area! Mark and Julie were so kind and friendly. Had the best time. If you're looking for an extremely clean, and perfectly placed hotel right in the heart of Capitola, book here! Don't hesitate.

We had an amazing stay at Capitola Hotel celebrating our son’s second birthday. The staff were fantastic, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the amenities were on point. We enjoyed it so much that we even extended our stay by two nights. Thanks for a great experience!!

Quaint little place. I received a gift certificate in 2017 for this place and found it in a drawer. I decide what the heck I'll see if they will except it after all these years. | Thinking they would say no but on the contrary, Alexis was super friendly and said of course just bring it with you when you come. The friendliness continued upon check in. The girl at the counter (sorry I didn't get her name) but she was glad to see us and welcomed us as if she knew us. Our room was very clean. Bed was large and comfortable.|So close to the beach. We were visiting family and had the best time walking around for the day and then being able to walk right to a cozy hotel. I highly recommend this place and definitely will return. My husband and I had the best time

First time staying at the Capitola Hotel. My friend and I stayed overnight on a Monday in the Grand Cayman room which is detached from (but feet away from) the rest of the hotel. It has two firm queen beds, a nice kitchenette with two stools, and a lovely bathroom. The room has a small patio in front where we would sit in the shade in between our walking outings to the beach, the shops, and the restaurants. We parked a block and a half away and hung the hotel-provided parking pass then moved the car to in front of the room in the evening. The hotel staff allowed us to keep the parking pass an extra hour past checkout so we could go back to some shops that didn't open until 11am and spend some time at the beach. We usually stay farther from the beach and drive in and this was much better being able to come and go easily from a home base in the Capitola Village. We were unfortunately away from the hotel during the times for the afternoon snack and the continental breakfast.
