I recently visited this trading card and role-playing store, and I was pleased with my overall experience. The staff were super friendly and helpful, offering guidance and advice whenever I needed it. One of the standout features of this store is their trade-in policy, which allows you to swap your unwanted items for store credit. This is a great way to refresh your collection and pick up some new goodies.

While I didn't have any major complaints, there were a few areas where the store could improve. However, the staff's warm and welcoming demeanor made up for any minor shortcomings. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this store to fellow collectors and gamers looking for a great selection and a pleasant shopping experience. Four and a half stars out of five!

Castle P is my go to spot for D&D minis and discovering cool nerdy board games. I’m not big into comics, but they have a huge selection. Plus tons and dice and even some vintage action figures.

All nerds will find something they like here.

Amazing comic and board game store. They have old games, new games, D&D, miniatures, paint and accessories,
Magic the card game, Pokimon, old and new comics, collectables and more. Staff is super friendly. Been around for a very long time. Has free boardgame library you can play in house or rent for a week. Daily game sessions from MTG, Pokimon, Warhammer, Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinfer and more. Did I mention all the dice? So many dice. Buy and sell collectable cards and comics. Fun to browse.

Serving all of your gaming needs, Castle Perilous is the coolest store in town, and beyond.

The selection here is tremendous. They have a massive selection of comics, board games, tabletop RPG sourcebooks and supplements, dice, plushies, manga, puzzles, trading card games and single cards, and collectibles. They even carry craft sodas and candy. If you can't find what you're looking for, Scott has always been willing to order it, if possible, including variant covers of recent comic releases.

They hold lots of events here throughout the week, including D&D sessions, card game tournaments, releases for new products, and board game nights. The staff is a major part of their awesomeness, as everybody here is helpful and friendly. I have always felt welcome as myself here.

Castle Perilous is a community cornerstone, and they sponsor a number of local events, including movie nights at the Varsity. Carbondale is lucky to have such a wonderful store here.

Friendly staff, fair market value pricing, decent-sized overall selection of comic books, board/table games, and collectibles. I go here frequently.

What a nice little gem. I was just passing by and spend about an hour browsing the shop. It’s definitely more of a Gaming Shop however they do have a nice selection of new comics and back issues. One major tip to consider is BROWSE THEIR BACK ISSUES, they are all cover priced, you will find some keys. Also, make sure you look at the comics around the boarder of the ceilings. There are some great early issues of ASM and FF.

Every visit has always been a positive experience. Staff members are always friendly and helpful if I have questions. Huge selection of miniatures and paints. Definitely going to remain my go to place for D&D and other table top related needs!
