This is a cool hobby store as well as tabletop gaming store. There's a huge area for all the tabletop game playing, and also a very large store front area that carries tabletop games, miniature figures, dice, game card sleeves, some statues, and too many other things to list. If you're in the area and are a gamer, the store is well worth stopping into.

It's literally my favorite store in America. A nerds paradise. Every time I pull into the lot feels like Christmas. Every time I've had any sort of stupid question the staff is always super quick to respond and super friendly. 10/10 I'll always recommend cataclysm to people. If this store goes out of business, I riot.

Amazon messed up our MTG Duskmourn commander set preorder so badly, sending us one deck only and then the same deck as a replacement and not understanding how a bundle works. We cancelled with Amazon and decided to order from elsewhere- Cataclysm fulfilled the order through Walmart for as cheap (actually a little cheaper) as Amazon quickly and I had the 4 decks in hand just two days after we got the wrong thing originally. Lesson learned to support local shops when you can especially since they understand what bundle deals are and are familiar with the products they sell!

New store layout is awesome. Very friendly very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Largest selection of d&d merchandise and miniatures in the area. Strongly recommend.

The shop is a mecca for all things gaming. Tabletop, card games, war games, minis, paints, dice, terrain, you name it. There's also no-cost tables for your DnD or Warhammer games available for use. Brian was friendly, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and overall made me want to come back.

Love this store. The best prices in the Rockford area. Great selection and good size play room. I wish there was more TCGs outside of MTG and Pokémon, and that Pokémon singles were more easily available to view in store. But staff is always friendly, and they have a lot of great stuff. Always love stopping in here.

Good God I Love This Place
So many wonderful people both work and go here for tournaments. Lotta the folk i have known for year. Extremely supportive for trans ?️‍⚧️ and queer ?️‍? homies. It's been one of my favorite places in this area for a long time.

Awesome store, great selection, great prices. Just got back from the annual customer appreciation sale which is always spectacular. Free food, extra 10% off, staff is friendly and engaging. Owner seems to really care about his staff and customers. Plus it's a local small business. There is no downside to this store. I have been going since they had a small location by Jessica's and it's really nice to see how they have grown and flourished. Even better how they give back to the community.
