Brought my husband back for another birthday food tour at Reading Terminal Market and it was just as great as last year! Our tour guide, Steve, knew so many facts about the market and Philly in general. Hubs is a US history teacher so it was great for him. We brought our new neighbors from Brazil with us and they loved it too. They got to try all new foods and experience the market at its best - lunchtime on Saturday!

We will definitely consider some other tours Steve mentioned - especially the historical walking and Chinatown tours. Thanks again for a great day, Matt and Steve!

Loved the Deluxe Driving Package with City Food Tours! I brought a large group but Matt and Steve did a wonderful job taking us on a 4 hour tour. We ate soft pretzels, tomato pies, steak subs with cheese wiz and donuts! You certainly won’t go hungry after their tour. I appreciated their hard work scheduling visits to iconic locations and the behind the scenes tours they offered us. Everything was well planned and we could not have asked for more knowledgeable guides. While riding on the bus to get to our destinations, Matt and Steve gave a narrated tour of the passing sights. Thank you for a wonderful day!

Wow! What an amazing experience! I absolutely recommend. Request Steve, to have a tailored tour to your group. We had 14 (students and chaperones), with vegetarians, and somewhat picky high schoolers. Yet, Steve accommodated all at the food stops. The history factoids and stories that went along with the foods were riveting and fun. Our final stop for candies was the perfecting ending… and all of this in the rain! Steve was a trooper and made sure we were ducking into dry spaces as much as possible. This tour was voted best activity/ adventure on our 4 day trip to Philly!

Every bite was a delight—from tomato pie and cheesesteaks to decadent desserts. I had a great experience on the City Food Tour Philadelphia with Matt and his other tour guide (sorry, I don't remember her name) food tour!
From start to finish, it was a delicious journey through the best local Philly eats and hidden gems that I would have never found on my own. Our guide was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and made each stop even more memorable with fascinating stories about the city’s food culture and history. The steakhouse was in an old bank and on my list for new places to try for dinner.

We are from Texas, so we went in skeptical about the barbecue spot, but it was impressive! Every stop had amazing food, and opportunities to get cocktails if so inclined. Great tour. Lots of locals were on the tour as well, and loved it.
