I have been experienced the same issue and rude arguments from a woman who works at the front desk. Really out of control , the manager or supervisor should do something about it. I sent this same concern last year in the annual survey. , so far I didn't see any changes or better behavior.

I strongly suggest to give a dictionary to look at the definition of COMMUNITY to the employee in the middle of the desk of the entrance. As a resident of Aventura this is a shame to be unwelcome and being talked the way this clown spoke to my son and I in front of maybe 4 or 5 others unnecessary scarecrows around. That being said, our taxes are going to those individuals is a scandal. This is completely unacceptable!
What is this? Where is the manager!?

My daughter goes to camp here and I like it because I feel like she is safe. She inst super excited about it because they don't seem to do much from what she tells me, but you know how kids exaggerated. They offer good after school activities but they are only beneficial for kids with parents who don't work past 3pm. The camp is expensive and so are the after school programs.

I came with my friend to this Rec-Center at 4 pm and they said the courts would be in use until 6pm due to the Spring Camp activities and they said we can play once the Spring Camp was over. So, we ended up waiting for 2 hours because we really wanted to play. When the camp was over, we were very excited to finally play basketball after waiting such a long wait. When we went in, this rude employee told us to leave. We were in shock and asked her why. She said because we weren’t adults. I remember coming to the Rec-Center a couple days ago and they said we had to be at least be 16 years old. What really pisses me off is before we waited, they said they we were able to play once the camp was over. And it turns out that they were lying to us and we ended up wasting 2 hours of our day. It’s a shame because after we left, and I saw them let other kids in the gym. So overall, I’m really disappointed with this experience and I hope they resolve this issue and it never happens again.

One of the very few cities in America that during this pandemic crisis continues to profit on ticketing on our fellow residents on infractions that were proved trivial like turning to the right at 3 miles per hour without complete stop
