Port wentsworth poilce are the worst traffic controllers in existence. They could easily make traffic flow but insist on people sitting in traffic for 2 hours plus. Terrible city.

This is ridiculous how they have you standing outside for long periods of time and only let a few people in … they get all that money and can’t afford to get a bigger court house and a bigger parking lot is a sad face for the city and something needs to be done

I’m absolutely outraged at the leadership of this “city” sky high utility rates. My property taxes tripled within the past year. Got another $700 increase that I will be for sure appealing. I’ve reached out multiple times over concerns in my neighborhood(NEVER GET A RESPONSE) cars parked all over the grass like a salvaged car lot. This city is a Complete abomination can’t wait to get out of here. Someone is definitely getting paid off barbee and his corrupt barn animal administration need to GO!!!!

This city hall employs an ignorant misinformed tyrant that thinks she owns City Hall! and called police on a peaceful member of the public holding a sign in support of Vets....!!! What kind of demon is this woman? I can only imagine what else she does to terrorize the local population.

Unbelievable. Went to pay my water bill @the drive through at 1:30 during business hours.
Car in front of me I noticed knocking on ‘teller’ window but no response. I tried calling inside, no answer. Other customer tried to go inside, door locked. No explanation as to why City Hall is closed. Not a holiday. Website specifically shows hours of operation and there’s no reason to be closed. Employees are inside. Can hear them. I try drive through again, knock on window, even blew my horn. Around steps a young lady with piazza slice in hand, mouth full of food. When asked why building closed and no explanation for the now 3 cars waiting. She shrugged her shoulders and through the food in her mouth said, “We’re eating lunch.” This is your new office staff replacing the majority of the customer service that resigned recently.
I will say this was about 3 months ago and I have not used the window since then.

On a POSITIVE note, I would like to thank the young lady who helped me over the phone more recently. She was very pleasant and seemed eager to help. I’m sorry I don’t recall her name but I did send an email expressing my gratitude to her and the email address listed on website for the her entire department. In it I expressed how I felt this young lady was the epitome of what customer service is about.

Incredible, some ignorant staffer literally said about a man peacefully holding a sign that says "Support Homeless Vets".... She said 'He can't stand in front of MY city hall talkin support homeless vets"

How does this city hall even employ such an ignorant person? If you're a govt employee, then you should surely understand and recognize basic civil rights. What a shame, this one woman, and the incompetent police officer that responded are going to cost the taxpayers thousands of dollars from a lawsuit. Really? Like she called the police to trespass a man holding a sign that says "Support Homeless Vets"
