We had a 9 year old Birthday party here and EVERYONE loved it!!! The employees were so helpful and nice, the party room is perfect and the climbing was so much fun for everyone. I like how they have a fridge on site for drinks/etc. because we did cake during the last 30 minutes and the kiddos appreciated the cold drinks after their climbing time. Climb Iowa even provided party bags and I put a few extra things in there that went with the star theme. ⭐️ Thanks Climb Iowa!!!

I called into the Grimes location to purchase the holiday deal on the Punch Passes because the website would not allow me to use a gift card to pay for it. Keith picked up and went out of his way to help me use my gift card, as it sounded like their system only allowed gift cards to be used inside the building. I live 2 hours away so I greatly appreciated his patience and extra help to make my purchase happen! We love Climb Iowa, and try to make a trip out there whenever we can.

Decent place to get some climbing in! Staff are very easy going and helpful when needed. A good variety of routes that range from "too easy" - "hahaha, no thank you". I appreciate the occasional chill night of climbing/workout.

Probably the largest climbing gym in the state. Great selection of routes for all experience levels. Both bouldering walls and rope climbing walls. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Great workout one you get the hang of it!

The staff was helpful the moment we arrived. They walked my son and I through the safety training and gave us helpful hints to stay safe. My son and I enjoyed our time there. We ended up buying a punch card and not living in the area made it a bit difficult to go. -Thinking for sure my punch card wouldn't be expired.- they insured me, "You get what you paid for." It took us a couple of years to finish up our punches. But we enjoyed it very much. One of my favorite experiences is getting a refresher on training. Thank you, so much for those experiences!

I am no expert when it comes to climbing or climbing walls, as we have only been to a couple. Climb Iowa though was an enjoyable place to spend time climbing. The auto belaying devices take some getting use to. The staff gave us a thorough safety briefing and how to at the beginning. Overall, a good experience.
