Giving them one star as I couldn't give 0 out of 5 unfortunately. Terrible service. I paid the clerk of the superior court to find a divorce record from the 1980s as it was needed to settle an estate in the UK. (For background, we knew the divorce happened in Arizona but didn't know where as the ex-wife had destroyed all of her paperwork ahead of her death - but based on where she used to live, I guessed Coconino had most likely dealt with the divorce). The clerk said they didn't have it and told me they'd done a thorough search when I queried the lack of a result.
They then sent me on a wild goose chase contacting all of the other county courts in Arizona. When those searches all came back negative, we had to hire a private detective to locate the ex-husband. He confirmed the divorce had happened in Coconino. Lo and behold when they searched their records again they found the divorce decree. They were an awful court to deal with, never answering their phone or follow-up emails and completely wasting my time. They also wasted a great deal of money as (among other expenses) we had to pay some of the other courts to search their records and we had the unnecessary expense of hiring a private detective. They made what should have been a quickly-resolved matter into a six month nightmare. I was representing an elderly couple in the UK who suffered with ill-health and anxiety as a result of the court's shoddy service. The court has also failed to acknowledge the letter of complaint I submitted to them.

As a local wedding officiant I've been delivering marriage licenses to this courthouse since 2015. The staff is warm and welcoming and have congratulated me many times even though I'm not the bride! Ha-ha! I find the system to be quick and efficient!

Only adding the extra star because jury duty was pretty interesting actually.

They said we would be getting paid, and it took them three weeks to get any money on my card. On top of that I couldn’t call them about this issue because no one ever answers or calls you back. I went in, left my name and number with still no response. I was about to go down there again and checked the card before I got there, they finally put money on but it was only $71 dollars, and I lost about $400 on my paycheck for being a juror. Is it worth it to be a juror then?.. maybe if you got your paycheck to spare.

Went there two years ago to act as a Personal Representative for my dads estate. Security was good, friendly and respectful. The desk clerks were very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous as well. I will say have your ducks in a row, papers ready and cash and things in court will go fast and easy. Was in and out in like 15 minutes.

Awful state to deal with. Deputy Clerk can never take a phone call. No time to respond to emails either. Corruption, lawless, no Accountability.

Never received a copy of my marriage liscense (from November) have tried calling multiple times a month so has my husband and leaving messages. No one ever returns my call. Can't get someone on the phone to send me my copy and they don't return phone calls. Very unprofessional, said I can come in when I did get someone on the phone but we moved across the country.

I have called the number for the clerks office everyday for a week now. No answer, I have left a message. No call backs. I do not get it. Is there a clerk or not?

I visited the Court last week to turn in some paperwork and asked them if I could update my address while I was there because I'm going to be out of town soon and need their response to reach me. They said to call them the day before my flight instead of doing in person while I was there. So I called, reached voicemail, and left a message asking them to call me back. After waiting an hour without them calling me back, I tried calling again and still reached voicemail. I'll try calling again earlier tomorrow, but it is really frustrating when following the procedures they told me doesn't work. Two stars for the court being helpful in person.
