Great opportunities to explore the Chicagoland, and the world. Students are encouraged and challenged to grow, learn, expand their minds, enlarge their hearts, and serve Christ and His Kingdom.

Top notch university, through and through. Loved my entire recruiting visit with Coach Stremler, Coach Paul, and the entire softball team. Everyone is classy, respectful, and humble, and you definitely get what you pay for on both the academic and athletic side of things. The sports facilities are amazing, and the opportunity to learn from professors that have the highest degrees in their fields is just something that you can’t pass up. You also get the opportunity to continue your relationship with Christ, which is invaluable. I loved Wheaton, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to challenge themselves to be the best that they can possibly be. Plus, if you are blessed enough to get the opportunity to play sports here, take it. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance that I wish I didn’t ultimately decide to pass up.

I love it here. I'm sorry to see all the negative reviews, but I guess it's less common for people to think about leaving a review on Google maps (of all places) when they have nothing to complain about. To balance some perspectives, particularly on 'Biblicality', here is a more positive review.

I consider most of Wheaton's policies reasonable and Biblical. Being an ecumenical institution, it makes sense that there are difficulties appealing to all denominations, but I think Wheaton does as good a job of it as they can. Most events that may prefer one denomination over another, or that some may disagree with (such as all-school communion) are completely optional When something is mandatory (chapel and a few classes), we students are always free to respectfully disagree with professors, speakers, or other students.

The most controversial of these is chapel 3x/week, as there is an incredibly diverse roster of speakers. Still, we have 11 free skips per semester (even if you go over in non-consecutive semesters you just get a warning), and are given the schedule ahead of time. If all else fails, no one is stopping anyone from putting in earbuds and/or studying.

At the end of the day, though it's a Christian institution, it is also a human one. There are going to be flaws etc. etc. For what it's worth, I think it's a blessing, and am grateful to all the dedicated faculty and staff that have worked hard to make and keep it that way. God Bless.
