I’ve been here as a student, a volunteer, and an intern, and I’ve loved every experience. It’s a beautiful building full of intelligent, passionate people, and I love everything it stands for. If you get a chance, check out the southside of the property where the old ed center and Cope house stand! There’s some well-tended gardens (if I do say so myself).

Cope Environmental Center is cherished by my family. It's an excellent place to hike, to take your children to enjoy nature, or to just simply sit and enjoy the native fauna and flora( They have a fantastic day camp run by compassion and caring people) When visiting please remember to be respectful and leave it as you found it.

Cope environmental center clearly is run by a special group of people who are passionate and hospitable. We went for the eclipse, but we were so impressed with the facility, staff, and volunteers who gave us tours of the living building, and took us on hikes and showed us the wildlife. Later they had activities to show the effects of the eclipse. It was very well planned and executed. Bravo!

Beautiful natural area, accessible trails, diverse habitats, great for casual or more serious walking. Most trails are easy, and a couple a little more strenuous. Birding is outstanding. Dog friendly. Toilets available in main building at north entrance, and behind the pavilion at the south entrance. Staff is very welcoming and happy to answer any questions. Cope is very involved in important conservation efforts and excellent environmental education for all ages.

Beautiful property with a variety of habitats represented. Trails are very well marked and maintained. I love that they're public access from dawn to dusk. Benches are set throughout for relaxing and enjoying wildlife. I would definitely go back.

This place is seriously a hidden gem. It is about as peaceful as it gets and if you want to learn about nature can serve as a wealth of knowledge in that area. Definitely worth checking out, especially in the spring/fall.
