I'm glad I've got property here. It is an up and coming community , but if you are only leaving the task to the officials it take a long time. EVERYBODY has rights. That being said it will take time to "clean up"
the community and put ordinances, laws, and quality people in place.
Being part of the solution is is key.
Looking past the part of what is painstakingly getting cleaned up, This is a beautiful area.

Wonder what happened to the “castle house” 2188 Gillyton ?
Rude mean hired management first meeting me said I’m gonna make you tear this down . Well I didn’t
He stopped the permits illegally
And my 20 years of work 50k $ is now in the landfill.
Don’t invest anything here you no longer want . Thieves thugs and desperate people is my experience living in country squire lakes for twenty years .
People here like to believe lies rumors and if your ahead they will bring you down.
I never felt welcomed ever crap made up about me .
So this clubhouse needs torn down it was supposed to be a privet Gated community but they allowed burning garbage that almost killed my family
If your thinking of moving here your making a big mistake
Maybe one day I’ll sue

One of the worst decisions of my life was buying property here. Those that live here are bled dry with dues for things that aren't provided, overpriced utilities, and fines. The poor are being pushed out, and those doing it are praised for bettering the community. There aren't as many drug dealers here as there once were and the crime and 911 calls are down, supposedly. There is a constant law enforcement presence here, but people are still shot, lit on fire, murdered, dismembered, and left for dead. Itt wasn't until 2024 that I've found people scoping out my house in the middle of the night. It felt safer when the drug dealers were here doing w/e they wanted since they in general kept their own people under some level of control. I wont use names but i can tell you it isnt some criminals that stop in the road to threaten residents. At least not the kind you hear about in the news anyway. Not a day goes by that i dont worry im going to be one of the next people to find themselves on the street. This place is a nightmare.

One star ONLY because you need to leave a star to review. What can one say about the Worlds Largest Trailer Park? If you need a place to live. More than likely you can find a place to rent off of a slum lord. 30 years ago was a thriving up and coming community. Had a pool, a little store, a restaurant, and a private security force. Today what do you have? 88 miles of roadways that are falling apart. Burned out trailers all over the place.

Parks need work, lakes not very clean heard they test the water 50 foot out so it don't test - geese droppings line the lakes,oils,sprays ect... running off properties not anything you can do about it except don't eat the fish or swim in it. But they are cleaning up a lot of property's. Be nice if they would but two lots together so you have room to upgrade your property better.You have to pay for a permit in CSL and at the county office, Most people feel its theft! why not charge taxes and registration also.The high water price that most won't drink, the hard water,lime build up fills water heater and coffee pots up faster than I ever seen for that reason and the taste I buy a lot of water about the same price.

I do not like living here. Too crowded after living with no neighbors for 17 yrs. Strangers walk into your property constantly. NO SAFE PLACES FOR OUR CHILDREN TO WAIT AT THE BUS STOP! LOOSE ANIMALS EVERYWHERE

This was a great place back in the 90's even better before that. When I still knew people who lived there. Now adays the roads are crap. The lakes are horribly polluted. I have even heard they half-assed filled the pool in. The community is filled with tons of junkies and a few poor souls that can't get out. I would suggest anyone to just drive on by. Do not pull in. I'll be happy to see the county tear this place to the ground. Its a burden on the Community.

This place used to be a nice place to get waterfront property. Now nobody in their right mind wants to live there because it's drug infested with a lot of needle users. The Indiana State Police are now trying to get that under control
