I am pleased to report a significant improvement in service during my and a coworkers recent stay at this hotel, which was a marked contrast to our experience 4 months ago. At that time, one of the front desk agents displayed rude unacceptable behavior towards guests checking in, and the carpet in our room was unclean and had not been vacuumed, the TV did not work, and the bathroom floor had not been mopped. Furthermore, the GM at that time and upper management did nothing about our complaints after several phone calls. We left after 2 days very disappointed. After staying at this hotel numerous times due to its convenient location, we decided to give it another try one last time. And this time around, we were checked in by a new staff member named Laura, who demonstrated exceptional customer service skills, being attentive, patient, sweet, and informative with a beautiful smile. Laura went above and beyond her duties to make sure our 2 day stay was pleasant. The other young girl she worked along side of was very kind as well. Our room was also very pleasant, with all amenities, including two TVs, thermostat, microwave, mini fridge, and blow dryer, functioning properly. Furthermore, the beds were exceptionally comfortable and cozy. The pool, our hot breakfast and the bar area, that stays open late, are a big bonus for us as usual. Overall, our brief stay was enjoyable this visit. We will return as long as we continue receiving great service as we did this stay. Our only complaint are the slow opening front doors and the glass window at the entrance that we almost walked through. Caution: You don't realize it's glass until you smack into it.

This is a great option for staying in Auburn. Love the lobby and Starbucks there. The rooms are a good size and have everything you need. We stayed for one night of parents weekend and it was a great base for our activities. Easy to get in and out and a quick drive to campus. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. Really enjoyed the fire pit. Only thing, rooms near the laundry room will vibrate like a cruise ship does for a few minutes while they are washing and drying. But all good.

Unfortunately the cleanliness of this hotel is subpar. I told the front desk of the large stain on our sofa and was basically told the manager was unlikely to do anything about it. Shower and sink both leaked onto floor and trash was under the sofa. It’s obvious the housekeeping staff does the bare minimum. Also, shower was badly stained and took a long time to drain water. Staff is friendly and the hotel seemed to be updated in the last few years, so the housekeeping issues are unfortunate.

Drive to Auburn university is around 15 minutes.

Was in town for a graduation ceremony and the host planned us to stay at the courtyard Marriott in Auburn.|It was actually a delightful experience. Hotel is in a great location and they have an actual Starbucks store in the lobby||The rooms are nice. Bed was comfortable so what more could you ask for?|But what struck me the most is how incredibly professional, friendly and helpful the staff was at the front desk when you check in. ||Kyla Tubbs, and Macie McGarry were just flat out exceptional |These ladies know all about hospitality and made our trip that much better!

The facility is new and nice, my only issue is fighting with my door that sometimes either won't lock or won't open. Also be careful of parking on the incline in the front since you can scrape the bottom of your vehicle. Service for cleaning has been fine and the place is clean with soft beds

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days and 2 nights for my son's graduation. I reserved 3 rooms. This hotel was one of the options recommended by the institution. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing.

To begin with, the treatment our group received was unpleasant. The young woman working in the bar/kitchen area displayed what felt like discriminatory behavior toward our group. Even though we spoke English, we were treated noticeably differently compared to other guests.

Additionally, our rooms were not cleaned or serviced during our stay. The hotel advertised Starbucks coffee on its website, but there was none available. The restaurant was also not operating, despite being listed as an amenity. This was a major factor in choosing this hotel, as we had planned to have breakfast there both mornings to make the most of our time.

Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel.

We have stayed here numerous times bringing my daughter to the University. She is a 3rd year student so we have stayed many times. We try to be loyal to Marriott but this place makes it hard, every time we here the same story to account for the horrible service…“we are understaffed,” “it’s a busy time…” With this stay we checked in on Sunday night and left on Wednesday. NOT A SINGLE person came to clean and service the room for the entire stay. Daily and multiple times I day I stopped by the front desk asking for service for our room and was assured “someone will get right on it,” “you’re going out for dinner, it will be done by the time you get back,” “our people are up there now doing it for you.” Only to open the door and find that no one even entered the room. Complaints to the front desk were met by blank stared associates who offered nothing other than “maybe the Manager can give you some Marriott points…” That is the last thing I could care about. There are many other options in this lovely town, AVOID this hotel…we will definitely find better service somewhere else in Auburn. Anything would be better. I’ve never written a review knocking a place but this was ridiculous.
