They offer rental bikes of all makes and models. I do believe they also have e-bikes as well for the non regular riders. It was a very rainy day and a rental would not make for a fun ride for me. My husband is an avid cyclist, he agreed. They have a limited supply of cycling apparel. Socks, hats and Jerseys with Alaska Logos. They run true to size as expressed by my husband’s jersey purchase. We asked for a military discount and it was applied. Thank you for showing your appreciation to a Vietnam Veterans!! The rental bikes were in tip top shape, apparently serviced and examined after each rental. Staff was pleasant. This is a tourist store, therefore parking is not great.

I had an absolutely fantastic rental experience with this shop. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They got me on my way to the glacier. They included a laminated map which made life a lot easier.

Also I did the ride from the rental shop by the cruise dock to the glacier. It was very straightforward. About 26 Mi round trip and was mostly flat. Since they rent e-bikes anyone can do the ride.

Located right opposite where the cruise ships dock Cycle Alaska is a very friendly place to rent a bike for a half or a full day.
I did the half day and had a very enjoyable ride south to Thane on a nice quiet but hilly road. Other road users were very polite on this road and gave me plenty of space when passing. The ocean and mountains give you some spectacular views but I also saw some deer amidst the trees. This road ends abruptly after about 5 miles so you get to repeat all the hills on the way back to town.
I then went through the little town and biked north to the Douglas bridge which is a very scenic way to get onto Douglas island. I did a south to north little ride but this side of the island is busy so it's not such a pleasant ride.
The bike I rented was a nice ride and in perfect condition and I highly recommend Cycle Alaska.

A great place to rent a bike. The people were friendly and had my bike tuned and ready when I arrived. They allowed me to change the type of bike I had reserved with no fuss and even stocked my bike with a map, a power bar and a bottle of water. Had a great ride to the Glacier and back and zero issues with the bike.

Rented 2 e-bikes while cruising, although the employee set us up with adequate equipment and steered us away from the glacier route, since it was closed due to flooding, and she suggested the alternative Douglas Island route to view the glacier, wish she would have guided us south of town to the waterfalls. Having alternative route option suggestions would have resulted in a 5* review

I was on a cruise to Juneau and cycle Alaska was in charge of our bike tour to the glaciar. It was amazing. The bikes where great. But the best besides the views was the team. Always trying to help. Super organized and friendly! They where ALL great!

Great customer service and support. They had the basics tuned on a hybrid analog bike tuned for a fun ride. Handle bar bag had all that I needed for a safe trip. Wish the lowest gears were available, but not crucial. Very enjoyable ride to Auk Bay Harbor. Thanks for the service.

Great experience today renting an e-bike to explore the Juneau area. The downtown location was easy to access from my hotel. Staff member Collin set me up with a great bike, helmet, lock, map, water, a little snack and some good suggestions and directions. The bike performed flawlessly and I was able to explore almost 50 miles of the area with ease. What a great day. Will definitely return here the next time I need a bike in Juneau!
