Beautiful place. But I have close friends that said they had to vacuum the carpet themselves after another party, while the staff watched. $35 to use the refrigerator? I have second thoughts about using that place for myself now.

I was really suprised when I went to check this place out. Really great facility with friendly people. 3 basketball courts, a climbing wall, workout area, and "lounge" area upstairs by the walking track.

Awesome car show on Saturday. Mostly Corvettes. Some vintage/new. All of the vehicles were just as awesome as the owners. Owners displayed their prize vehicles from near and far. I pray all experienced a safe drive home.

Live in Merrillville? You should be going here it’s freeee!!! Nice indoor track. The rock climbing is 10$ an hour. $10 a month for access to the weights and track for non-Merrillville residence. Locker room and shower. The hall here rentals fees are super high. You can rent out the courts and there is free court hours for kids.

The staff is very prejudiced in working with communities of color organizations. We submitted a request upon them opening this center for diabetes management under the Centers of Medicare & Medicaid. They never reached out by email or phone. The head woman acted as if she did not want to even take my application request. I see events being held, but I do not see any collaboration with minority led entities. Indiana is one of the states that has the highest population of people in their state that is affected by diabetes. It can be FACT CHECK ✔️. However, they will not work with organizations that specialize in diabetes training and management through the government.
They must do better for all communities in allowing this center to be utilized by more than a selected few.
I wonder what Dean & Barbara would say to not everyone having usage in this center. Shame on the board of directors and staff management.

I have a gym membership and I love that it is never crowded. Update Merrillville residents have free membership. This place is helping me lose weight. Still going love it

I love visiting the fitness center. The staff is friendly and helpful. The equipment and space is always clean and refreshing . As soon as I enter the building, I feel motivated and inspired to get my workout on. It is truly a therapeutic experience whenever I go.
