Screamed at our children rather than speaking to us. When I expressed my desire for them to let us know if our kids are doing anything they didn't want them to do so we could correct them, they accused us of being bad parents and told us to leave.

Intolerable conduct that clearly denotes this location as not being family friendly and its owners as being insensible and incapable of simple discussion.

I thought this store might be my new board game store after moving into the area, but now I see I am quite wrong.

Edit: This is because the business responded to me. As can be seen, they decided to double down on their misconduct.

They certainly raised their voice at my children, as I heard them clearly from the other side of the store.

As for the comment of controlling our kids vs calling us bad parents and those not being the same thing, they actually are. The only implication in saying someone can't control their kids is that they are bad parents, as is further shown by their claim of our entitlement. The English language has many nuances and intricacies that allow us to make many statements without explicitly stating something.

There was no entitlement from us, only a request that they let us know if our kids were doing anything they wanted them to stop so we could correct them rather than someone who doesn't understand our kids and how they respond to things. This request will be shown clearly on the security footage the owner pointed out, as will our calm departure from the store when they exercised their right as the owner to have us depart from the store.

Full disclosure of our kids actions. They were running through the aisles of the board game inventory section. That being said, there were no customers on that side of the store, they were all on the wargaming side of the store, and our kids never got more than 10 feet from one of us. Furthermore, our kids did not and were not permitted to touch anything. If the owner had simply let us know that he didn't want our kids running, we would have immediately had them stop. This supports my point of their inability to participate in discussion.

There were a couple points where our children did shout, and they were immediately corrected by us and quieted down. Of course, kids are naturally inclined towards unfettered expression of emotion, so they are bound to have moments where they exceed the appropriate noise level, but we always corrected them. This lack of understanding of how children behave according to their development levels is the primary contributor as to why I have concluded that this location is not family friendly.

A store whose owners don't understand the developmental process of children and how that affects their actions and takes that misunderstanding straight to the children rather than their parents cannot be listed as anything other than being not friendly towards families.

Great and varied selection, relaxing atmosphere with lots of play tables. Saw many games that I've only ever seen online, and many of the prices beat online retailers

First time visiting yesterday and I absolutely love it here.
From north Atlanta to Macon, this is in the running for my favorite game store. Clean store, well laid out, calm atmosphere and very friendly owners. Definitely the best spot south of Atlanta!

This store is well stocked with a variety of games. I've been in several times and ended up not making a purchase but I have never felt pressured as if I needed to make one. Everyone who works there is friendly and willing to help. I enjoy whenever I go visit.

Small little business but has all the board games you want! I live in a different country and haven’t been able to find dice thrones. But they have it! And they will also ship overseas! Their prices are amazing as well, 5 dollars below retail.

Pat is very welcoming and kind. We enjoyed our time browsing and talking to him for recommendations today:) It’s an excellent place to shop from as you can tell he loves what he does, is knowledgeable, and willing to help you if your not sure what to pick.
We will definitely be back to add to our collection and to play a game with others, as the atmosphere is lovely.
We ended up getting unmatched and happy to know that if we want to add more to this game his shop is close to our home.
