One of those places you hope never closes but you know nothing lasts forever so enjoy it while you can. They have everything from toys to books to candy to partirs and costumes. It's a big place packed full of fun stuff. Yes you could probably shop around and save a couple bucks but isn't nice having this place right in town, no waiting for Amazon, don't have to set foot in a big box nightmare?!?!

Since I been having to learn the area, especially coming from San Diego, they really are top #1 on my list for party planning supplies and all your party needs. And prices are very reasonable and if you have 5 star rewards you can get discounts for shopping with them. For my 1st time I got my 5$ discount and I had a great experience. I really recommend it. It's what I'm used to back home and better than party city prices when it comes to plates and table covers and cups.

I went to pick up party supplies and Christmas gifts for friends and family with my 6 year old son today. When my son picked up a plastic Fire Fighter Hat that was stacked on a shelf and tried it on, a worker came up to us and asked, "Can I help you?" When I answered "We're fine," she replied with, "You can't try things on." Then she murmured, "Kids mess everything up" loud enough for my boy and I to hear. My child did not "mess anything up." My boy even apologized and gently placed the hat back after hearing that. I placed everything I was going to buy back as well. The store has a good selection of products, but I'd rather order online or purchase elsewhere than to be spoken to that way. Wish we could've walked out happy, but Diddams on Laurel St wasn't a good experience for us.

Definitely the place to go if you're having a party or if you're a child. They have a great selection of unusual and novelty candy, tons of toys and costumes, and party equipment for any theme you could want. It's great to walk through any time you're hanging out on Laurel Street

Fantastic selection of party supplies, birthday gifts, and costumes. They offer limited costumes throughout the year and really increase the selection around Halloween. They have standard year-round party supplies divided into easy to browse sections by theme from solid color through all of the popular characters. They also have an aisle of rotating seasonal decorations. There is a great variety of balloons. They sell an amazing variety of unique gifts from puzzles and boardgames to smaller collectible items. They even offer Legos at a reasonable price. They lose points from me when it comes to checkout. There is no identified line, people cut in front of you after you have been waiting. It is difficult to distinguish who is just taking balloon orders and who is actually ringing customers up.

One of the very few remaining independent party and candy preparation shop. This is not a small establishment. Quite sizeable and a huge selection of party prep items. Candy selection is great, toy and board game selection is also pretty good, although largely geared for pre-teen and toddlers. Various plate sets for parties should be a pleasant surprise and interesting availability of makeup and outfit. The only downside is it is quite pricey but that should be expected from such a specialty shop.
