Thank you for your SPLOST funds Cobb County! This new park is still under construction but will add a nice place to take dogs, hike, walk, find solitude, and see unique views of the Chattahoochee river! There will be a nice wetlands boardwalk bridge to gain nice walking views along the river. Includes multiple trails with various inclines or flat trails with picnic tables and benches and many informational signs to inform you about the rich history here.

Discovery is a very nice & peaceful park. The sound of the river is so peaceful and serene. They have done some improvements widening the trail. Can't wait to see what the future holds for the park.

The concept is sound, but it seems, that so far, the money was spent on the parking lot, landscaping, and signs. The majority of the mapped trail is "closed." That being said, it's a beautiful, if short, little hike. The pics are from the area that appears closed, with just a sign saying no safe path along or to river. As you can see, there is. But it isn't structured. Hopefully they get around to working on the actual "park" itself, now that the pretty parking lot is finished!

Very easy trail and dog friendly. It's about 1 mile with lot's of educational material to read.

Nice park. My family and I found someone's pet rabbit that they decided to dump off in the woods by the river. Luckily, we were able to rescue this sweet baby, and it is now part of our family.

Very nice park, a good escape from all the hustle and bustle. The park is still developing new trails, You can't really see the river or the creek yet, but it looks like they are building boardwalk towards the river. The trails up small hill to the earthen works are very nice with great interpretive signs!

At times because of construction I was definitely confused about which direction to go but probably because I got there later in the day. I definitely enjoyed being by the water and the changes in elevation for the views.
