We had our daughter’s 5th birthday party at the facility and everything was wonderful! The kids enjoyed the bounce house, basketball, volleyball, connect four, and tumble mats in the gym. The room offered plenty of space to open presents and enjoy food with a kitchen to utilize as well. Thank you!

I personally don't use this facility, my son and his friends do. They love having something like this locally to use. It is a nice place with reasonable prices for use. I can not wait to see the additions that are built on to this place in the future.

I don’t care about any of the negative reviews towards the park district. I see them do a great job every single day! By cleaning the parks, to maintenance, and of course all the lawn care to keep these kids playing and having fun. THANK YOU.

Lowell Park access is seasonal at best. Yesterday I took the family to learn how to ride bikes at the park only to find an ultra running event that was not marketed to the public, advertised within the area, or on the organization website had restricted access to parts of the park.

The parking situation at Lowell Park's top (west) is one that this organization needs to address. It prevents tax payers and others alike from utilizing the facilities when there are events that aren't posted and access is restricted to the public.Early spring recreation is best found at one of the nearby state natural areas or parks.

There should be less catering to elite groups (some of which aren't even tax payers in district) and more focus on actual programming, accessibility, and promotion of healthier lifestyles for folks that aren't ultra endurance athletes. In the middle of a pandemic folks want to recreate in the outdoor spaces they have available to them, not see them cordoned off for a private group event.

If you want $700,000.00 for an indoor community center from the City of Dixon, perhaps we should start with outdoor facility maintenance and accessibility first. There is a good reason that most Dixonites wind up recreating over in Sterlings Park District, and paying out of district to do so.
