Michael is an amazing guide and biologist. His knowledge of the area and how marine life, birds, and mangroves make San Carlos such a unique area. The tour is worth your time and money, dont pass it up!

My boyfriend and I took the tour today and it was AMAZING! I’ve traveled to 17 countries and have never done anything like this before, so it was a real treat. We got to see dolphins!! And the ceviche was top notch. Michael is very knowledgeable and gave lots of interesting facts about the surrounding landscape and ocean life. Would highly recommend this tour to everyone, and will definitely do another tour with Michael if we are ever in San Carlos again!

First of all, Michael is an INCREDIBLE guy. His passion for the ocean and ecology is infectious. We had a larger group than he could normally accommodate, but he worked with us and local boat captains to ensure we were still able to embark on the snorkeling and boat tour adventure. We say huge moray eels, king angelfish, giant sun stars, pencil sea urchins, all kinds of coral and sea fans, the list goes on and on. He starts the trip with an incredibly informative 30-minute presentation on the natural history of the Sea of Cortez which was invaluable to help us know what we were looking at. If you’re in San Carlos and thinking of what to do, make sure you include this.

Michael’s passion for biology really made this experience a 10/10! He took the time to educate us on the area’s ecology to make sure we knew exactly what we were seeing while out sailing around the Sea of Cortez and snorkeling around San Carlos. A tour with Michael is an educational, fun, and beautiful experience - highly recommend!

If I could give 10 stars out of 5 to this tour, I would definitely do! Michael did a great job.. not only by making sure we had an amazing experience (we even saw dolphins!), but by showing us in a deeper level what we’ll be seeing out in the ocean.

Highly recommended if you’re in San Carlos!
