We Love spring lake lagoon, we put 4 stars because of the massive amount of goose poop, however we learned if you go on the opposite side (the side where the food bar is ) there is less!

Awesome spot to spend the afternoon with family or friends. Self guided and really kid friendly. The tide pool is amazing and full of sea creatures!

An awesome feature of spring lake park, with great interactive activities for kids of all ages, located just off the upper parking lot. Full of interpretive exhibits including taxidermied animals and articulated skeletons, a tidepool tank with live marine animals, a fishtank with real steelhead, and an accompanying spawning tank with alevins. Just one more reminder of what an incredible, diverse park this is, and how lucky we are to have the Sonoma regional parks bringing us so many recreational and educational opportunities in one place.

Very nice little discovery center. Kids loved it and we enjoyed it too. Worth the visit. No fees for getting in, only pay for the parking (for the park as well)

Great little Reginal Park Discovery Center. I would say great for kids 2ish to 8. Friendly staff. Not very big can see the whole thing in 20 minutes or so.

It's a cool place with a tide pool and you can handle things there, it's got a campsite set up with campfire and chairs, it's got a little toy fishing pond with toy fishing rods and toy fish, it's got a mural with an image of Spring Lake wonderfully painted on it and little magnets that you can put where different kinds of wildlife belong, it's got a picnic table with cooking gear and an umbrella and benches. It's a cool little place- kids really enjoy it - and it's free! (We'll... After you pay the $7/car to enter the park)
