What an AMAZING time with Patrick our Guide. We did the full circle road to Hāna and it was awesome and worth the extra fee to see the difference in landscape. Patrick was friendly and adventurous. He was also courteous and considerate in terms of eating, shopping and bathroom stops. We cannot say enough good things about our trip with epic Maui hikes!

We did the Waterfall hike with Lauren. What a wonderful, top notch experience. We loved the waterfalls, hiking, jumping into pool at the base of the waterfall . However, what made the overall experience a 5 + rating for us was the service provided by Maui Epic Hikes and our tour guide, Lauren. The best tour guide we have ever had (and we have had many - we're in our 70s!). She provided some very special treats for us. Her athleticism was amazing - I think she's part mountain goat. She has a great knowledge about the island. Thanks for the awesome experience!!!

We had an unforgettable experience on our Road to Hana tour with Mike Blue! From start to finish, Mike made the day so enjoyable with his extensive knowledge of the area, its history, and Hawaiian culture. He knew all the best spots—stunning waterfalls, lush forests, and hidden gems we would have never found on our own.

Mike’s passion for Maui and his attention to detail truly elevated the experience. He was incredibly patient, making sure we had plenty of time at each stop to take in the beauty. His storytelling added so much depth to the journey, and he made us feel safe and comfortable on the winding roads. It was clear he loves what he does, and that energy made the day even more fun.

If you’re considering doing the Road to Hana, I highly recommend going with Mike Blue. It was an incredible day filled with breathtaking sights, interesting stories, and memories we’ll cherish for a long time!

Mike was our tour guide for the road to Hana and it was such a fantastic experience! I would absolutely recommend him. We saw awesome waterfalls, he showed to all the locations we had seen and read about. I’m confident I could’ve driven it myself, but I must say it’s worth it having someone who knows the road do the driving for you. You could quite literally see how anxious/uncomfortable some of the other drivers were, meanwhile we got to sit back and really just enjoy the trip and the scenery.
My wife swears we were having the most fun at some of the spots, especially when we were the only ones jumping off the waterfall. Which I can’t say I would’ve found the path if he wasn’t there to point it out.
Plus he took some pretty awesome pics.
Truly amazing experience I’m sure we’ll both remember forever.

We had an amazing time on our private tour with guide Mike. He showed us all the best spots and had a lot of knowledge on the natural fruits and flowers along the way. We actually got to stop and pick some fruits and flowers that were very tasty. Specially the Hawaiian cherries :). Mike had us laughing along the way and made the trip very memorable for us. I would 100% recommend doing this trip specially with Mike. You will be able to enjoy all the scenery Hana has to offer instead of having to drive yourself and having to focus on the narrow and winding roads. Thank you Mike!

This hike to the waterfalls was the best adventure my family have done. Trena was very informative on keeping us safe and very knowledgeable of the environment and island culture. The hike on the trails gave a fun, wet and rocky challenge through the mountain side. It was a great time.

My family had a blast with Mike!! We spent approximately 10hrs taking in the views and history of the island. Our kids (4&6) enjoyed themselves a lot. Mike went out of his way to encourage us to try new things and be a little more adventurous. The Thai food truck was probably the best Thai food we ever had! Mike offered us complimentary snacks, drinks and others amazing fruit along our path. It was a really special experience! We absolutely recommend this tour!
