So fun! Had a group of nine. Never done an escape room before. Anthony was our game master. Took us a bit to get it figured out to start, but once we figured out how to look for clues - we had so much fun! Thanks so much!

Hi, unfortunately my experience with my group was a letdown due to us not being able to finish the room based on certain puzzles not working as intended and causing us to waste time even though we were doing everything right. My group was left frustrated that we could have done well but didn't even know it wasn't our fault since some of the puzzles just didn't do what they were supposed to when they were supposed to. This was for the Arcade room and we thought it was a well designed room overall but the experience just left us frustrated since we had time taken away and would not be given extra time even though it was the fault of the puzzles and the room for failing to do what they were supposed to do.

I've done 20+ escape rooms and hands down Arcade ranks in my top 2. My group and I did both Arcade and De Ja Vu here and they were both phenomenal, but Arcade steals the show. Without giving anything away- There were several personal touches in these rooms that made them stand out among others, and they were the right amount of challenging. I also appreciated the level of passion the Game Masters had and the way they gave clues when asked for but not on their own.

Not going to lie, I judged a book by its cover when we first arrived as it didn't have a cool or unique entrance as some places I'd been to had, but I was so wrong. Great puzzles, amazing transitions and an incredible experience. Check it out!

We had a super experience at Escape Era! Our group was larger than officially allowed so they warned us it would be a tad crowded but allowed us to all play together if we wanted to. I do agree that the game would work best with a slightly smaller group, maybe 6 would be ideal, but even with being overfilled we had lots of fun. The gamemaster was fantastic, gave a perfect intro that was clear and easy to understand, but also funny and entertaining. The game itself was a blast, the hour went by in what felt like 10 minutes. Our players were ages 10-72 and everyone was able to participate. I like that the game allows you to choose how easy or hard to set it, and if you want hints or not. We plan to return to try their other game; thank you Escape Era!

We tried the Arcade and stood up pretty good to our expectations though we could only crack it like 80%. Claire was our game master, she did really help us when needed. Even after being to many escape rooms prior, this one was actually challenging for us. Hope to see more puzzles from these guys , good job?

This was the hardest of the 5 escape rooms that we have done in San Diego, but one of the most fun. The puzzles were unique and made sense with the theme of the room. Not too many red herrings. Plenty of stuff to do in parallel for the entire team to stay occupied at all times. The moderator gave useful hints when we were stuck without giving too many hints. Overall, a great experience. I'll definitely come back to do their other rooms.

Jasmine and Nerissa were our game masters and it was so much fun. Our group played the Arcade and DeJaVu games. Both were so creative and immersive and I loved the expert difficulty level. A problem I've had with other Escape Rooms is when there aren't enough tasks for everyone to figure out at the same time. In this one, even if there was just one task, all 5 of us were able to collaborate. Unlimited hints and cool room designs!

Our group is somewhat an escape room veteran with 30+ rooms under our belts and I have to say that I am pretty impressed with the quality of this escape room. The room has a nice ambiance, tasteful deco and many cool props. You can tell that it was designed with great care, passion and attention to details - something that I look for and appreciate in a well-designed escape room. There are very good mix of clever and challenging puzzles that we love in all the escape games we have played, from logic to pattern finding, some physical and also some pretty impressive tech! Our group had a blast playing their difficult mode and got out with barely minutes to spare. (difficulty level can be adjusted for the beginners as well)

The location is very convenient, just off the I-805 in a business park with plenty of parking. We were promptly greeted by a wonderful and friendly host, Jade. Their lockers are equipped with charger cables for your phones - now that is the first ! --both iPhones & Androids.

Overall a solid room. I would highly recommend this whether you are an escape room newbie or an expert, definitely give this one a try!
