We played the Haunted Recording Studio. I think this room is good for beginner players new to escape rooms. Some fun, spooky moments, but just too easy. Some of the puzzles could be much more challenging. The owner was friendly and there is free parking. It's located on the second floor.

Awesome escape room! One of the better ones in the area for sure! It's not just lock boxes and numbers. There are a lot of surprises and the technology used is definitely higher teir. The puzzles had very nice flow and I left satisfied, not confused. The theme was also an added bonus. Most definitely worth trying.

A Ghost haunting a real recording studio...Awesome!!! I love helping ghosts and I love escape rooms...this is a win win.

This is a fun experience for all ages and especially for those that love the recording industry. The multiple rooms in this game are beautifully authentic. The puzzles are not those time consuming Sudoko style puzzles. There are not a bunch of laminated "clues" hidden in boxes. This is a fun, unique, immersive game. The sound effects are a wonderful addition to game play.

I recommend The Haunted Studio.

We decided to do the Haunted Recording Studio for our 12th escape room and we had so much fun!

*THERE ARE NO LIVE ACTORS IN THIS ROOM*

When we got there we were given a poster to read with the backstory and then we were given the rules. During the rules conversation the GM gave away some hints for the room which I wish were left out because it would have added to the room. Another thing to point out is that you are allowed to use your phone in this room, you'll need it for a source of light.

We were place with 2 randoms who we initially thought would hold us back but instead they were such great spirits!
We ended up breezing through the room and completing it in 27 minutes and no hints; which we were told was the new record!!

The room itself was very in theme and looked like a legit recording studio. Some parts of the room seemed a bit cluttered and messy but it fit with the overall theme. There are multiple rooms *that's not a spoiler, it's an obvious thing even just from looking at the yelp photos*. When you are done with one room the lights will turn off in that room which was good in a way knowing you completed it but also bad in the fact that you know there nothing else in the room that could help with the next room.

The room is a more high tech room but with the being said it seemed like the GM controlled most of the room instead of us actually unlocking things. Sure there a few padlocks and keys but other than that it was sound effects and video effects.

The clue system was different than any other rooms that I had done. There was the usually walkie-talkie but we were also given audio clues in the form of sound effects. "creaking door"= puzzle solved, "dogs bark"= getting colder, "singing"= getting warmer. First of all the "dog barks" sounded like screams which absolutely terrified everyone in our group. I think that they should either do the sounds OR the walkie-talkie , not both, because we didn't use the walkie-talkie once.

I took off a star because of a few things. First the price; it's 35$ per person, but I do not believe it is an $35 room; I would say $20 normal, and $15 discounted. But for a $35 room I expect more puzzles that are more difficult to solve. Also, the sound effects didn't make sense; why would there be dogs barking in a recording studio? In addition to this you end up using one a the puzzles twice which normally doesn't happen in escape rooms. The room was also about 65 degrees so bring a jacket. Also the story line didn't make sense halfway through the room. You are told you're helping to free a spirit, but that she is a friendly spirit, that switches about halfway through which we were very confused by.

A plus is that we were given our photo pretty immediate and it was nice with the room name on it. Also the GM/owner was very friendly and passionate which was awesome. He seemed very surprised when we escaped so fast! This room is still high on my list though due to the entertainment factor. I honestly had fun in the room even though it was frightening at some points.

That being said, I don't know if we will be back for the Chernobyl room as I haven't heard that many positives about it. And I can't justify paying over $20 for a room which currently has a 1star rating.
