my family and i just recently played a game and had a great time, the staff was very friendly and inviting. They gave us great hints, while also making it a lot of fun. They even helped my ten year old son calm down when he was crying due to him thinking he was gonna be stuck in the room haha loved this place would recommend, definitely coming back

Took a group of 14 and 15 year olds for a bday party. Staff was prepared and friendly. Daughter said there seemed to be alot of red herrings and they did not escape. We would visit again. The waiting lounge is nice and peaceful.

Made reservations online, paid the deposit, And received email with verification. When we checked in, was told the reservation and amount paid was different than what was done and told I needed to pay more than I owed. I explained that I had my email confirmation and was told by Delaney that "it didn't matter what my email said, only what the computer showed" I even tried to show my bank account with the amount they had deducted but she kept saying it didn't matter. Then told me she would call the owner but that it wouldn't change the answer they had for me and walked away. While waiting for her to return (which she never did) the young man at the desk continued to look into the situation and realized they were looking at the wrong reservation and apologized, then went to tell Delaney. As mentioned, she never came back to apologize for the confusion OR her rude behavior. Even when passing her in the hallway, no apologies. Very bad customer service. Then, while in the mansion room, we were experiencing technical issues that cost us time and had minimal help with that. The young man that found the reservation issue explained to us afterwards, it was a new room and they were finding/ having issues, but we were not compensated for that. With that type of service, we'll go take our business elsewhere.

I love the environment Escapology gives off!! The staff is very kind and helpful while playing the game. When we were playing Mayday(apparently the hardest room), the staff was very willing to help explain what we were doing but allowing us to figure it out ourselves. I love it there! 100% would recommend this escape room!

Oh man, I hate giving an escape room a negative review. As a former game master myself and having played over 200 rooms, I love escape rooms and love the art of puzzles. Unfortunately, we had one of the worst escape room experiences today. We played the Mona Lisa room at 3:50. When I arrived, a couple was clearly having a payment issue and had requested a receipt. Something weird happened with the printer and it started printing out a huge receipt - which took time. We weren’t bothered and took our spot on the couches. When the couple finally got their receipt, the lady at the desk asked if we had a booking. We informed her we did. It was about 3:45 at this point. She remarked “if you guys don’t start your game by 3:50, we are going to start deducting time from your room. We are very busy and don’t have time to wait around. Scan this QR Code and do the waiver”. We jumped up, got our waivers done, and then the staff member disappeared. At 3:49, a different staff member came out with a group and asked us to move so she could take a picture. I informed her that the other staff member told us we needed to go to our room. She took us in and was significantly kinder and we got the room started. No big deal, I get it. You’re busy and you need to keep things on schedule!

The theming of the room was beautiful and we were excited. I don’t want to give away spoilers, but there are 4 puzzles on the wall that should give you 4 items. One item was completely missing (the spot on the wall was empty) and one item (a light) was broken. After about 20 minutes and 2 clues, we were finally hinted that we needed to use a “remote”. The remote was completely missing. We let the game master know and she said “well I don’t know where it is.” Yeah, we didn’t either. Instead of fixing it, she just gave us the answer. We let her know about the light not working and she said “just use a different one”. The worst part? She charged us all of our clues when we actually just didn’t have what we needed to solve the puzzles!

Having completed hundreds of escape rooms (and every other room at this location), I do feel there are some puzzles that need cleaned up. A clue towards the windows, the knocking actually working (took us about 10 tries), and a hint to hold the green button would have been very helpful.

At the end of the game, a new games master (a guy this time) came in. He let us know that he just got there. He was really friendly. We told him about the remote and other issues, but since he just arrived he didn’t know what to say. We got our picture and left.

I think if it was one issue: Rudeness about us being “late” and trying to get us to move quickly, broken game pieces and a missing remote, charging us clues for things that were wrong, or poorly clued mechanisms - if just one, this would be a 3/4 star review. Unfortunately we experienced them all.

My group was really disappointed in the experience.

We had a lot of fun in our escape room, but ran into a problem. I contacted the manager, who was nothing but helpful. I can tell they really value their customers, which is quite refreshing. Although we were a little bummed with how our game ended, I greatly appreciate the help we got. Thank you Tracy for standing behind your business and valuing your customers!

We have been to 7 other escapology locations. 1st time in Fort Wayne. We did the Mayday room. The 1st two rooms were what we expected and very fun. 2 parts towards the end in the last room could have been ssssoooo much better designed. The control panel and the measuring on the map lacked the same thought process as the rest of the room. The game master was helpful, but could see and hear us struggling and did not help when other places have.

It was a great time, even though we had some technical difficulties with a lock. The staff was very helpful and was willing to give us our time back. We plan to go back! Highly recommend if you want to try an escape room!
