Koby was our tour guide and was very outgoing and knowledgeable about the land and the history of Hawaii. 10/10 would recommend!

Our VIP tour with Experience Hawaii was absolutely phenomenal! Michael, the owner, personally picked us up from the Four Seasons in Wailea. He had snacks, water, sunscreen, and literally everything we needed for a great day. Michael was beyond personable throughout the entire day, not to mention I appreciated commitment to sustainability by driving a Tesla.

Michael's ability to provide a truly local experience was unmatched. He took us to some secret gems along the Road to Hana that we would have never found on our own. My favorite surprise of the trip was climbing through a volcanic tube beneath a tree and emerging from the roots - something we would never have known about without Michael's guidance. It was an incredible and unique experience!

Overall, the tour was outstanding and Michael is an excellent guide, as I am sure his entire team will be. You absolutely have to try this tour, and we will definitely be coming back again. Mahalo!

We recently had the most incredible private tour with Experience Hawaii, led by our fantastic guide Michael, which covered the Road to Hana and the Haleakalā Summit at sunset. From start to finish, it was an unforgettable adventure.

Michael went above and beyond in catering to my limited mobility throughout the tour, ensuring I could experience everything we had planned without feeling rushed or left out. He was incredibly thoughtful in adjusting the place and finding accessible paths, making sure I didn’t have to skip any of the beautiful sites, from the sea turtles to the waterfalls and the Haleakā Summit. His care and flexibility made the tour both comfortable and memorable.

The day began with an early stop at a secluded beach where we spotted sea turtles, an experience that set the tone for the day. Michael's knowledge of lesser-known locations really made this tour special.

Next, we ventured through the lush rainforest, and Michael made sure we got some beautiful photos with the stunning rainbow eucalyptus trees. Their vibrant colors were even more striking in person!

Along the way, we visited numerous breathtaking waterfalls, each more serene than the last. We even had the opportunity to enjoy a private black sand beach—an exclusive moment that felt like our own personal paradise. A highlight of the tour was our stop at Lualima Farm Stand, where we tried the "miracle berry" experience and bought blue ice cream bananas. The miracle berries made sour item taste sweet, adding a unique twist to an already exceptional day.

As the day came to a close, we ascended to the Haleakalā Summit just after sunset, with the sky ablaze in colors that only added to the surreal beauty of the island. Michael’s timing was impeccable, allowing us to avoid crowds and fully appreciate the peaceful, majestic view from the summit.

Michael’s passion for Hawaii and attention to detail made this tour truly outstanding. If you're looking for an immersive, private experience that highlights the hidden gems of Maui, I cannot recommend this tour enough!

What an awesome day! Koby was such a great guide. He tailored our day to our needs and ever keep the kids from arguing. Took us to many great places that was loved by our whole group which ranged from 7 years old to 76 years old. Kids even said they want to do another tour with Koby. Thanks for making our first trip to Maui so enjoyable!

Our day spent taking the Road to Hana with MICHAEL was absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!! He is the BEST tour guide in Hawaii and we are so thankful to have had him with us! We saw beauty and splendor that was beyond our imagination! We saw sea turtles (one of which Michael removed fishing line from and likely saved its life), visited the rainforest and waterfalls, saw mongoose, stopped for lunch at a beautiful farm-to-table spot, crawled into lava tubes, went swimming at the black sand beach, saw amazing wildlife and plants that Hawaii has to offer and truly had the best day! Michael was kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable and my family had an instant connection with his friendly demeanor. This day brought so many wonderful memories for my family and I and we are so grateful to Michael for making it happen! We will be back and we will be calling Michael for the next trip!

Tobias was able to meet us at our meeting point at an earlier designated time. We felt like getting out earlier so we can see more with fewer crowds. Started at 7:00am instead of 9:00am.

Glad to do this as a private tour because we wouldn’t have known where to stop in order to see all the scenic spots.

The waterfalls were the kids’ favorite. Super cool to see the red sand and black sand beaches.

Stopping for the banana bread, lunch at Hana Farms, and the Coconut Glenn’s ice cream was perfect.
