Perfect place! I liked it very much.
Everything is clean, the guys that work are friendly. Swimming pool for adults (deep), swimming pool for kids, sprinklers for little ones, playground with sand, 3 slides, lazy river.
The lazy river is just wonderful, the child really liked the sculptures, as well as the sprinklers that you meet while you swim along it.

The only disappointment was the cold water.

A really nice public aquatic center that's open from early June to mid August. With two shallow pools (one for lap swimming), three water slides, a lazy river, and a sandy play area with water features there's something to keep the whole family cool. If you live closer by or intend to visit on a regular basis, the season pass is a great deal.

There are plenty of lifeguards throughout the park that rotate through various positions to keep themselves attentive.

Though there is a lot of chaise lounge seating, on the busiest days you can be hard pressed to find a seat, so you may want to bring a picnic blanket if you want to be extra prepared. Oh, and only about a quarter of said seating is under shade, and those are always the first seats to be snapped up.

There's a food stand associated with the aquatic center, Bo-bo's, and while their prices are highway robbery and service is slow as molasses, I'm glad there's a food option.

My one real complaint with the facility is the changing room area and bathrooms. They're looking REAL rated and rough around the edges. If you can, change at home and spend as little time as possible in them. Here's hoping that in the off season they get a little TLC (and some updated lighting or at least some LED bulbs to brighten things up).

Was very disappointed, because all shaded areas where occupied by backpacks of camp kids. I understand, kids needed a place to have lunch and rest, but over all my stay 3+ hr I didn’t see that happening. To make things worse, a little group of kids with counselor asked me to move away from the shade, even it was enough space for few more groups and me with 2 kids. And all they did - just dropped their bags and left. In my opinion, camps should have designated areas, instead occupying all available shades. We have mothers with little kids, seniors who are not able to stay in the sun, especially with temperatures now. Our family enjoyed this park more than 10 years and I hope park management will take in consideration other visitors, who comes to enjoy this park.

lifeguards werent even at their positions at all and were all huddled up together talking. we went on the lazy river not knowing it was closed. we werre watched going in the direction of the floaties and were making our presence very clear. when we we’re reaching the end we were told that it was closed and that we had to get out but there were 2 exits and we didnt know which exit to leave from. we were passed the first one so we assumed the second one and once again we were told we had to get out. we started heading out of the exit and the male in the picture still proceeded to yell at us very rudley to get out while the other life guards that werent even at their posts started to laugh at us .

The good? Lots of professional lifeguards, 3 water slides, a lazy river with 3 water fountain features, 2 sets of restrooms, 2 zero entry pools and great water features for young kids. Also, kids 3 and under are free.
The not so great? Non-resident rate is steep ($16/person) and there’s no discount for kids over 3. No chairs at the kid’s sand play area means adults get to stand awkwardly while supervising. Pool also closes at 5 pm on weekdays.
Overall it was great for a one time visit as a non-resident but not a place I’d frequent especially given the early close hours on weekdays.

Ever since I was 5 and moved to VH, this place has been my second home. My first memory here was finding the coins during flick and float. The FAC has so many engaging events for the community especially camp out and movie nights. I love how there’s open swim and jazzercise before it opens to the public. The water slides are so so fun and the pool is shallows less than 5 Feet which makes it safe for weaker swimmers. The bobo’s here has great food and it’s not even that expensive. The lifeguards here are so responsible and do their job well. Always attentive and alert. The managers are well equipped to deal with Karens. There’s nothing bad I can say about this place. I’ve had so many life changing events here and most of my summer memories reside here. This place is so FACTASTIC

The lazy river was unavailable to the community. They had no mirrors in the bathroom and was very sketchy. They also only had threes and nothing above five feet. But, they did have good chicken tenders.
