Farley Family Restaurant has quickly become a favorite after a few visits, and it’s easy to see why. Mario, the chef, consistently delivers delicious meals, ranging from a classic BLT and Fish Sandwich to more indulgent options like the Ribs and Shrimp special. The onion rings are a tasty treat, and tonight’s hamburger and tenderloin sandwich were standouts.

My wife’s burger was cooked exactly to her liking—juicy and full of flavor. I opted for the Tenderloin special, which came with a cup of homemade minestrone soup. The soup was so good that my wife enjoyed it and they even sent us home with a bowl since we were the last customers of the night. As for the tenderloin, it was everything I’d hoped for and more: lightly breaded, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. It’s hands down the best tenderloin I’ve ever had.

And let’s not forget about dessert. Mario’s homemade pie crust is incredible, and we’ve made it a point to split a piece every time we’ve visited. The service is as warm and welcoming as you’d expect in a small Iowa town, and the restaurant is spotless. Farley Family Restaurant is truly a hidden gem that’s worth a visit.

This restaurant is truly a great find off the beaten path. Mario makes the most amazing reuben on the planet and his soups are out of this world. The atmosphere is quiet, the restaurant decorated beautifully and the service (Nikki) is wonderful. If you driving highway 20, take the few extra minutes to stop off and try the food. You will not be disappointed.

We go out to Dyersville every year for the National Farm toy show. I always like to find a place to eat in the area when we are there. This is what I picked, and the food was great. I would highly recommend going and checking it out. The wife and I had the Philly steak OMG it was awesome. Great service is also very pleasant atmosphere 11-2-24

The food was absolutely awesome. I had a chicken melt and my husband had a tenderloin. We split a cup of potato bacon soup. The soup was delicious.

My wife and I had Sunday morning breakfast. The food was except and plenty of it. The service was great. The prices were right and the restrooms were very clean. We will definitely be visiting again.

Visiting my daughters and granddaughter and went for a bike ride on the heritage trail. we stopped here for a lunch break and to get out of the humid weather.

Great little place to stop, everyone is friendly, service and food all great. We tried the Philly Steak sandwich, the BLT and the chick club wrap. All were fantastic.

The owner even brought out a plate of cold watermelon for my granddaughter was thrilled to have her favorite fruit to eat.

On the hot humid, day, the cold lemonade tasted great.

Great family operated restaurant just minutes from the highway. Small town atmosphere with many specials to choose from. My kind of place!
