I loved the food but when you have 3 servers for a place with 14 tables with a max of 6 people to a table, it shouldn't take almost 45 minutes after being seated to just get out drinks. We were there for two hours when there was no reason to be. Loved the food but the service was poor. Being a server myself and having had served 14 tables by myself, there's no reason it should take 3 people over two hours to get a party of four in and out the door.

Traveling home and didn’t want fast food. Google reviews did not fail on this one! GREAT food! Between our party of 6 we all ordered something different. Woodfire pizza, wings, fish sandwich, kids horseshoe, wrap, & a “bowl”. There isn’t a single complaint about anything! Everything was fresh & delicious! About once a year we travel through this area! We will make sure F&A is on our list of stops.

Great atmosphere and delicious food. We love the Pizza, but many other good choices are also on the menu. They also have a pretty good selection of Beer and Mixed Drinks too.

I brought in a table of 6 (4 adults, 2 kids). 3 of us arrived at around 5:30, got a table and sat down. Our waitress didn’t even come to greet us until about 10mins. After we ordered our drinks, we didn’t get them for another 30 minutes. Our other guests arrived shortly after. It took over an hour for us to get our food, and when we did get it, 2 of our guests only received half of their orders. We would have told our server, but we rarely saw her; and when we did, she seemed to have an attitude about anything we asked for (to go boxes, another round of drinks, etc) I normally am not the one to complain about service, as I was a server myself for years. But this was absolutely ridiculous. The food was delicious, but the service was terrible.

My son and I walked in knowing the owners, but we were blown away by how nice this restaurant/bar is! You can see the brick oven from the front door and smell that little bit of brick oven smoke! The staff was so inviting and friendly! My brother chef Clayton Horrighs happened to be there which is why we came all the way there from Festus, MO! It was well worth the drive! We ate a few amazing appetizers then ordered our food! Everything was DELICIOUS!!! I will say the horshoes and shrimp are to die for! What a nice place to relax and get a great meal!

Love everything about this place! Great food and service. We had a party of 8 and were able to get a table as a walk-in. We got our drinks quickly and refilled when needed. Our order was broken into four bills and handled smoothly and correctly!!! I had the salmon Caesar salad and the salmon was perfect! Highly recommend and will definitely be back! ?♥️

We ended up at Fire & Ale by accident. What a surprise! My pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and onion rings was out of the world. Everyone ordered a variety and all were blown away. I told my brother we went there and he said that’s his favorite place! Bravo!!!

We where driving from Baton Rouge, La. to Madison, Wi. We were tird and hungry.
While traveling seldom can someone truly make me feel as comfortable as being at home. We ran into a waitress that put us at ease, gave us the time we needed to just get our bearing, some food, and some time to just sit before returning to our trip. Somehow felt more manageable.
