I recently threw my son’s fifth birthday at first empire. It was a hit! I am giving them five stars for accommodation, excellent service, atmosphere, all of the things! When I first called and spoke with Kent, he was very informative, with clear communication and explained how everything would work for a party. I think I may have called him about 15 more times with numerous questions, and he was very accommodating for each. The day of the party we were able to arrive early to give us enough time to set up all the decorations. As the children arrived, they all got to play in the floor is lava room supervised by employees. This gave us a little bit of extra time for the finishing touches in the separate party room. Yes, there were two rooms which I absolutely loved! They helped us put up our decorations, provided all utensils, plates, birthday boy chair, and even helped with blowing up our helium balloons. During our party, Kent was very attentive and frequently checked in with us to make sure everything was going well and to see if we needed anything. They provided pizzas and drinks, and assistance with the piñata and any games. The lava room is also an escape room of sorts. It was really fun for all the kids to play along with assistance, of course. Even the parents got in on the fun! Once the party was done, they took care of all the clean up and even helped us get all of the presents and remaining decor, that we took with us, back to our car. I would 100% throw another party here! They even do parties for adults not just kids lol. One additional perk is that if you have a kids party here, the parents can do escape rooms while the kids are playing. So it’s a win-win. We did not do a magician or face painter however, they do offer that. And they set up the whole thing so you don’t have to stress about finding anyone. Out of all of the birthdays I’ve done for my son this was the least stressful birthday ever. I cannot recommend them enough!

Our first time playing an escape room and we had a lot of fun! Staff are polite, friendly, and extremely helpful! Our host was so nice (don't remember his name, a tall and slender guy). Everytime we were stuck, he approached us with the right amount of hints. We couldn't solve all the puzzles within the time limit, but he never rushed us and gave us plenty of extra time so that we could finish the game. We didn't see any other players when we were there. I guess your experience might be different if you visit during a busy time. They also have themed party rooms, and they looked nice. Buying and using a gift certificate was a bit of hassle though, and the website could use some improvements. The online booking page has no place for a gift certificate so you have to call to make a reservation with a gift certificate.

I have done 3 escape rooms here and they have all been so fun! The themes are great, and really detailed. The staff are super helpful and kind! I would highly recommend:)

First off I have to say that I was impressed with what they were able to do with the space given them. There not much of a lobby per se as they sacrificed that to give their players a richer experience and I'd say it was a good decision.

My friend and I signed up for the jailbreak escape room and we were the only people for the room. They rated the room an 8 out of 10 and I'd definitely give it a legit 8 out of 10.

The lovely girl at the front was a treat to interact with and made the experience even more pleasant despite the group doing the scoops away constantly ringing for assistance.

If you enjoy escape rooms, I'd definitely spend some time and money at this place. You will not feel cheated. Also I can't wait for the newest room they have coming!!

We traveled halfway around the world and found ourselves at Scoops Ahoy Escape Room. It was worth the trip. The puzzles were plentiful and not ridiculously difficult. The decor was immersive and we loved how similar it was to the TV show Stranger Things. My favorite was the entrance from the second room to the third room. If you don’t have escape room experience, this is a perfect place to start. Plus, this was the best thing we found to do in Santa Rosa. The hotel suggested it to us and, except for wine tasting, it is all that Santa Rosa offers.

Excellent and unforgettable experience. Our entire team agreed that it was an overwhelming experience. We can hardly wait for our next visit. Do not miss the highly recommended team-building life room. We came from Panama and actually just dropped by accidentally. It would be great if there was something like this in our area too.

Not only was it a great escape room but the owners are wonderful and were very kind and helpful to our children. Excited to come back and try the other ones!
